An animal litter composition having reduced adhesive properties, and a related method, are disclosed. The animal litter can include a clay-based liquid absorbing material, a filler including one or both of the following: a non-absorbent, non-soluble substrate; an absorbent substrate, and at least one oil present in an amount such that the animal litter composition has a total oil content of about 1.0% by weight to about 7.5% by weight based on the total weight of the animal litter composition.

The invention is directed toward a high performance clay-based animal litter that is comprised of a clay-based liquid-absorbing material, and at least one filler coated with at least one clumping agent. The particle size of the liquid-absorbing material is small and provides the litter with a 'sandy' appearance. The high performance litter is found to be surprisingly effective in containing odors and reducing tracking and dusting. It does not contain foaming agents and/or acids to trigger foaming, and does not utilize foams to block odors.

A device for supporting a tree limb. The device includes a base having top and bottom surfaces for situating the device proximate to said tree limb. A telescoping pole having a longitudinal axis and first and second ends is provided, the first end being rotatably secured to the base. A coupling is included for varying the length of the telescoping pole. A support rod is affixed to the second end of the telescoping pole, the support rod being rotatable about the longitudinal axis. Tree limb support device

The present invention provides a time indicator and method of use for determining and visually displaying the passage of a predetermined period of time. The time indicator of the present invention comprises a top portion and a bottom portion. The top portion is a multi-layer segment comprising a dye support layer coated with a masking layer, which containing a viewing window therethrough, and a non-curing ink or dye permeable polymer layer containing a migrating agent. The bottom portion is a multi-layer segment comprising a base support layer and a migrating ink or dye printed on the top surface of the base segment. The time indicator apparatus further comprises a removable impervious film or middle layer, which can be removed allowing the top and bottom portions to come into contact with one another, thereby activating the time indicator. The time indicator of the present invention allows one to follow the uniform directional visual dye migration through the viewing window.

A strap tensioning device for anchoring a load to an anchor point, that includes a strap, a base member having a pair of arms, a handle rotatably connected to the base member, a mechanism operated by rotation of the handle for securing the strap to the base member under a tension, an anchor for anchoring the base member to the anchor point, and a tension indicating device connected to the base member. The tension indicating device includes a load member extending between the arms, and preferably a spring connected between the load member and the base member. At least one of the anchor and the strap are configured to exert a changing force on the load member for moving the load member against a resilient force of the spring as the tension in the strap changes.

A cargo bar including first and second bars extending from opposite sides of a grip housing, with distal ends thereof defining a cargo bar length. An advancement pawl moves the first bar away from the second bar to increase the cargo bar length. A holding pawl prevents the first bar from moving back toward the second bar to decrease the cargo bar length. First and second handles are rotatably attached to the housing between folded positions proximate to the housing and operating positions extending away from the housing. The first handle has an engagement portion that engages with and operates the advancement pawl as the first and second handles are squeezed together. The holding pawl includes a release tab that extends from the housing that when pressed, causes the holding pawl to release the first bar and allow it to move to decrease the cargo bar length.

Cargo bar

A corner mount packaging assembly for retail display of a tie-down assembly and for protection of a right angle edge of a load secured by the tie-down assembly. The packaging assembly includes an L-shaped frame with an inner surface adapted for placement over a right angle edge of the load, and an outer surface having guide members extending along side edges of the frame. The tie down assembly is removably attached to the inner surface of the frame, and includes a strap, hook type fasteners on the strap ends, and a tensioning mechanism for imparting a tension to the strap. The guide members form a channel on the outer surface for receiving the strap to prevent the strap from sliding off the frame, and the rigid L-shaped frame dissipates the force of the strap over a wider portion of the load, thus preventing damage thereto.

A pair of goggles with incorporated magnifying glasses including a face housing adapted for covering the eyes of a user. The face housing includes a top wall. The top wall has a forward edge and opposed side edges. The top wall has a pair of side walls extending downwardly from the opposed side edges thereof. The face housing includes an eye cover extending downwardly from the forward edge of the top wall. The eye cover includes a clear viewing area. An adjustable band is provided having opposed ends secured to the pair of side walls of the face housing for securement of the face housing to a head of the user. The present invention is based upon the discovery that a low-phosphate automatic dishwashing composition comprising from about 2.0 to 50.0 percent by weight of alkali metal carbonate salts such that it contains a weight ratio of about 1:1 to 20:1 carbonate to bicarbonate, from about 2.0 to 60.0 percent by weight of a water-soluble organic complexing agent comprising one or more hydroxycarboxylic acids or the salts thereof, a sufficient amount of an alkaline condensed phosphate salt to provide from about 0.1 to 1.7 percent by weight of (P.sub.2 O.sub.5) ion, from about 0.5 to 8.0 percent by weight of about a 2:1 to a 6:1 blend of an acrylic polymer comprising a salt or ester of acrylic or methacrylic acid having a molecular weight of between about 1,000 to 25,000, with a copolymer of a substituted or unsubstituted maleic anhydride and lower olefin having a molecular weight of from about 1,000 to 50,000, and from about 0.5 to 8.0 percent by weight of a nonionic surfactant provides satisfactory cleaning without unacceptable spotting and filming and without the need to add a chlorinated agent.

Low-phosphate machine dishwashing detergents

The present invention is based upon the discovery that a non-phosphate automatic diswashing composition comprising from about 2.0 to 50.0 percent by weight of alkali metal carbonate salts such that it contains a weight ratio of about 1:1 to 20:1 carbonate to bicarbonate, from about 2.0 to 60.0 percent by weight of a water-soluble organic complexing agent comprising one or more hydrocarboxylic acids or the salts thereof, from about 0.5 to 8.0 percent by weight of about a 2:1 to a 6:1 blend of an acrylic polymer comprising a salt or ester of acrylic or methacrylic acid having a molecular weight of between about 1,000 to 25,000, with a copolymer of a substituted or unsubstituted maleic anhydride and lower olefin having a molecular weight of from about 1,000 to 50,000, and from about 0.5 to 8.0 percent by weight of a nonionic surfactant provides satisfactory cleaning without unacceptable spotting and filming and without the need to add phosphates and/or a chlorinated agent.

Non-phosphate machine dishwashing detergents

The present invention is based upon the discovery that high levels of carbonate salts can be formulated with minor concentrations of phosphates (e.g., about 0.1 to 0.3 percent by weight as expressed as (P.sub.2 O.sub.5) ion) together with low levels of polycarboxylate homopolymers and copolymers (i.e., about 0.5 to 5.0 percent by weight) in a dishwashing detergent formulation while providing satisfactory cleaning without unacceptable spotting and filming and without the need to add a chlorinating agent.

The present invention relates to a self-deodorizing carpet and to a deodorizing composition used in the production of a tufted carpet floor covering material. More particularly, the present invention relates to the use of a particular bicarbonate-containing solution containing a water soluble latex for the treatment of tufted carpet floor covering products to impart self-deodorizing properties thereto.

The present invention is based upon the discovery that high levels of carbonate salts can be formulated with minor concentrations of phosphates (e.g., about 0.1 to 0.3 percent by weight as expressed as (P.sub.2 O.sub.5) together with low levels of a mixture of certain polycarboxylate homopolymers and copolymers (i.e., in combination, a total of about 0.5 to 8.0 percent by weight), and relatively high levels of nonionic surfactants in a dishwashing detergent formulation while providing satisfactory cleaning without unacceptable spotting and filming and without the need to add a chlorinating agent.
