Combined bottle and cap

A dispensing container is provided which includes an ovaloid bottle and an ovaloid overcap. The bottle includes a dispensing aperture. The overcap is formed with a roof at a closed end thereof and a surrounding wall with a mouth defining an open end opposite the closed end. A pintel and a circular collar both project from the roof in a direction toward the open end. The pintel is sealingly fittable into the dispensing aperture. The circular collar ensures that the pintel will not misalign with the aperture of the bottle and thereby avoids damage to the soft plastic of the pintel. The bottle has a shoulder which serves as a camming device for easy removal of the overcap in a twist motion.

Ovaloid bottle with overcap

An ovaloid dispensing container is provided which includes an ovaloid bottle and an ovaloid overcap. The bottle is fitted with a fluid dispensing device such as a pump assembly. An oval collar is supported on the bottle and has an outwardly flaring shoulder. The overcap is formed with a surrounding wall and a mouth defining an open end. The surrounding wall tapers outwardly while the mouth defines a downwardly convex perimeter on front and rear faces of the surrounding wall. The shoulder functions as a camming surface against which the overcap perimeter slides to assist in twist-off removal of the cap.

Ovaloid dispensing container

A packaged cosmetic product is provided which includes multiple effervescent sachets placed within a tub with an open dispensing mouth. A carbon dioxide breathable and moisture barrier foil is arranged sealingly to close the dispensing mouth. Any carbon dioxide generated during storage, usually as a result of moisture prematurely effervescing powder within the sachets, is allowed to slowly diffuse into the atmosphere through the window formed by the special foil. The tub is formed of walls which do not have any substantial carbon dioxide breathability but do prevent inward moisture penetration.

A dispensing article, particularly for dispensing towelettes, is provided and includes a container body for storing the towelettes and a lid hingedly attached to the body. The container is formed from a floor panel, left and right side panels, front and rear panels. A button flap unitarily formed with the front wall includes a button projecting outwardly from a surface thereof. The lid includes a latch flap unitarily formed therewith and projecting downward toward the container body. An aperture is formed in the latch flap shaped to receive the button. Latch and button flaps are more flexible than other sections of the lid and container body panels. This flexibility allows for an easy to use, relatively inexpensive locking mechanism and provides good sealing characteristics. A refill canister can be placed within the container body.

Towelette dispensing article

An outer package is provided for strapping together at least two different articles. The package is a unitary cellulosic board forming primary and secondary hollow cavities of unequal volume, the primary cavity having opposite openings on first and second ends, the secondary hollow cavity having opposite left and right ends each coverable by a closure wall when folded into a closed position. A pair of article anchoring apertures are formed in the floor wall to secure any article held within the primary cavity. A blank is also described which when assembled through adhesive securement of head and tail terminal panels forms the outer package.

Dual article package

A dispensing article, particularly for dispensing towelettes, is provided and includes a container body for storing the towelettes and a lid hingedly attached to the body. The container is formed from a floor panel, left and right side panels, front and rear panels and a deck panel. The deck panel includes a sealing section with a dispensing aperture. The sealing section is domed outwardly away from the floor. A downwardly projecting plug on an interior surface of the lid, in a closed position, engages within the dispensing aperture forming a seal therewith. The domed nature of the sealing section improves the air tight closure and shortens the required length of the plug to minimize aesthetically displeasing sink marks in the plastic wall of the plug.

Refillable towelette dispensing article

A towelette product is provided which includes a stack of flexible towelettes, a refill package for storing the towelettes and a cover housing surrounding the refill package. The refill package has deck and floor walls in parallel relationship to one another. An aperture in the deck allows access and egress of individual towelettes and is circumscribed by a rigid mouth with a coupling structure. The cover housing is formed with a roof on an upper surface and an open mouth along a lower edge. A dispensing port of the roof is defined by a rigid engagement wall directed downward toward the open mouth and engageable with the coupling structure of the rigid mouth in a sealable relationship to prevent moisture from transferring therebetween. Only a single seal is necessary to both join together refill and cover housing and serve as a towelette dispensing orifice.

Refillable towelette dispensing package

A towelette product is provided usable for cleansing/make-up removal which includes a stack of folded flexible towelettes impregnated with a fluid composition, a pouch for storing the stack of towelettes and an outer container surrounding the pouch and having walls more rigid than the flexible sheet forming the pouch. A dispensing aperture is formed in a deck panel of the pouch. A seal is adhesively arranged over the dispensing aperture to minimize fluid evaporation and control foreign objects from contaminating the towelettes. The outer container is defined by top, bottom, front, rear and side walls, the top wall having an opening with left and right flanking panels, the opening of the container and dispensing aperture of the pouch being aligned to allow towelette removal. A lid is hingedly attached to the outer container which in a closed position overlies the opening and at least a portion of the flanking panels. In a second embodiment of the seal for the pouch, a support saddle is provided to overlay and adhere to the deck panel and both side panels. A cut-out portion is hingedly attached near a rear portion of the support saddle. The cut-out portion is adhesively reclosable and aligned over the dispensing aperture. The support saddle provides rigidity to the respective panels of the pouch against which it adheres. Collapse in the face of a decreasing stack of form-retaining towelettes is prevented by the support saddle structure.

Towelette pouches with outer container or saddle

A reclosable dispenser is provided which includes a receptacle, preferably a unitarily molded plastic thermoform, for holding dry goods such as cotton swabs and a reclosable lid hingedly attached to the receptacle. The lid has a cover substantially co-extensive with the open top of the receptacle and includes a cover with a flap extension at an end thereof oriented perpendicular to the cover. A slot in the flap extension lockingly receives a rigid tab formed along a flange atop a front wall of the receptacle. The tab and slot arrangement allows for easy opening but secure closure of the dispenser.

Reclosable dispenser

A dual compartment pump dispenser is provided which includes a first and second container with a pair of independent pump mechanisms each for emptying product through a respective dispensing nozzle. The dispensing nozzles have openings oriented in a direction at least 60.degree. apart from one another, preferably 180.degree. apart. Different compositions are intended to be stored in each container for sequential rather than simultaneous use. The containers are joined along a sinusoidal curvilinear surface having complementary mating elongated recesses and ridges. A collar and base cup fasten the containers together.
