The invention provides an ammunition storage box that stores and loads multiple successive rows of ammunition cartridges into firearms magazines. The box includes an interior channel and multiple openings that lead into the channel. The channel is configured to host and dispense cartridges into a firearms magazine interfaced with the box via a proximal opening, which leads into the channel. The box also includes cartridge slots, recessed into the box and convergent with the channel, configured to host cartridges. The box also includes an obstruction block configured to selectively engage within the channel and obstruct cartridges hosted within the cartridge slots from moving into the channel. The box also includes a rod, configured to slideably engage within the channel and displace obstruction blocks or cartridges within the channel out from the channel. The rod is also configured to encapsulate the cartridge slots when expanded into the chamber.

Apparatus for storing and loading multiple rows of ammunition

The invention provides an ammunition storage box that stores and loads multiple successive rows of ammunition cartridges into firearms magazines. The box includes an interior channel and multiple openings that lead into the channel. The channel is configured to host and dispense cartridges into a firearms magazine interfaced with the box via a proximal opening, which leads into the channel. The box also includes cartridge slots, recessed into the box and convergent with the channel, that comprise recessed chambers configured to host cartridges. The box also includes a rod, configured to slideably engage within the channel and displace cartridges within the channel out from the channel. The rod is also configured to encapsulate the cartridge slots when expanded into the chamber.

The invention provides a sealed ammunition storage box that loads stored ammunition into a firearms magazine. The box includes a hollow interior channel configured to host ammunition cartridges, an opening leading into the channel configured to facilitate the positioning cartridges into the channel and another opening leading into the channel configured to dispense cartridges hosted within the channel into a magazine that is interfaced with the box. The box also includes a handle with a pressing block, the pressing block positioned within the channel through an opening in the box and configured to traverse within the channel to urge cartridges positioned within the channel into a magazine that is interfaced with the box. The box also includes a cover that is selectively engaged and disengaged with the box to encapsulate the openings of the box so as to prevent the movement of objects into and out of the channel.

Apparatus for storing and loading ammunition

Systems and methods for receiving and loading cartridges in bulk are disclosed herein. A device described herein includes multiple parallel partition walls configured to couple with cartridge carriers and segregate, group and single file line the cartridges removed from the cartridge carriers and placed onto a receiving surface. An alignment wall on the receiving surface works in conjunction with the partition walls in aligning groups of cartridges into single files on the receiving surface. A loading rod slideably engaged with the receiving surface urges single filed groups of cartridges from the receiving surface into a magazine coupled with the receiving surface.

Systems and methods for receiving and loading cartridges in bulk

A valve arrangement for use in measuring a wide range of gas flow rates, comprises a valve housing including one inlet for a gas flow and two outlets, one for a low flow rate and the other for high flow rate. A plug is vertically moveable in the housing and includes a large diameter lower end engageable against a seat for closing a large port in the housing, and a small diameter upper end for engagement against an upper small diameter seat in the housing. The large and small seats communicate with the high and low flow rate outlets. Ferromagnetic material forms at least part of each seat with the plug being magnetic for retaining either its upper or lower position depending on the inlet flow rate. With a high inlet flow rate, the plug is lifted from its lower seat to close its low flow rate outlet and open its high flow rate inlet. At low flow rate, gravity causes the plug to drop. This permits the passage of the low flow rate gas through the low flow rate outlet. A diaphragm connected between the plug and the housing separates the outlets from each other. A small or low flow rate flowmeter is connected to the low flow rate outlet for measuring the low flowrate range and a large or high flow rate flowmeter is connected to the high flow rate outlet for measuring the high flow rate range. Thus a broad range of gas flow rates can be measured.

Flow range extending valve

An apparatus and method for monitoring and controlling the flow of fluid transported solid particles is described. Also an integrated system is disclosed for monitoring and controlling pulverized coal in a non-intrusive manner employing a fluid such as air. The coal flow in each feed pipe is regulated so as to achieve a desired flow balance among the burners in a boiler.

Pulverized coal flow monitor and control system and method

An apparatus for supplying a controlled flow of pneumatically transported solid particles, in particular, pulverized coal, comprises a pulverizer or vessel for containing pneumatically suspended solid particles. A supply pipe is connected to the pulverizer or vessel for removing a mixture of pneumatic gas and solid particles from the vessel. A bend is provided in the supply pipe and an aspirator is connected to the supply pipe at a distance of from one to two pipe diameters from the bend. The aspirator is provided on the outer wall of the bend and is supplied with aspirating gas to draw off an amount of mixture from the supply pipe. This controls the amount of remaining flow of mixture through the pipe. The supply of the aspirator is connected to a bypass line which is connected to the mixture inlet of an injector which is supplied with injecting gas. The supply of the injector which carries the mixture is connected back into the vessel. The flow of aspirating and injecting gas is controlled on the basis of flow measurements taken on the supply pipe from the vessel. The aspirator and injector can accurately control the flow of pneumatically suspended solid particles.

Pulverized coal flow control system

An apparatus and method for supplying a controlled flow of fluid transported solid particles, in particular, pulverized coal by the controlled injection of a fluid, such as a gas like compressed air, into at least one feed pipe. The flow of coal in feed pipes is controlled by selectively reducing or increasing the flow of primary air to achieve a balanced burner operation.

Pulverized coal flow controller

An apparatus for supplying a controlled flow of pneumatically transported solid particles, in particular, pulverized coal, comprises a pulverizer or vessel for containing pneumatically suspended solid particles. A supply pipe is connected to the pulverizer or vessel for removing a mixture of pneumatic gas and solid particles from the vessel. A bend is provided in the supply pipe and an aspirator is connected to the supply pipe at a distance of from one to two pipe diameters from the bend. The aspirator is provided on the outer wall of the bend and is supplied with aspirating gas to draw off an amount of mixture from the supply pipe. This controls the amount of remaining flow of mixture through the pipe. The supply of the aspirator is connected to a bypass line which is connected to the mixture inlet of an injector which is supplied with injecting gas. The supply of the injector which carries the mixture is connected back into the vessel. The flow of aspirating and injecting gas is controlled on the basis of flow measurements taken on the supply pipe from the vessel. The aspirator and injector an accurately control the flow of pneumatically suspended solid particles.

A flowmeter particularly adapted for measuring the mass flow rate of a mixture of pulverized coal and air. An orifice flowmeter is located in a conduit carrying the mixture, and a reaction mass flowmeter is connected to the conduit either upstream or downstream of the orifice flowmeter. The reaction mass flowmeter includes inner and outer elbows with the inner elbow fixed at one end and free at the other, with a load cell mounted thereon to measure the reaction force caused by the change of direction of the mixture as it transits the elbow.
