The present invention provides a brake cooling system for cooling vehicle brakes having a fascia for mounting in a front area of the vehicle. The fascia has at least one aperture therein for allowing air to pass therethrough. The aperture has a first aperture side opposing a second aperture side. The brake cooling system further has a channel structure communicating with the aperture to allow the air to pass through the channel structure. The channel structure extends back from the fascia and has a first channel side opposing a second channel side. The channel structure is constructed to channel air from the aperture to the vehicle brakes when the vehicle is moving in a forward direction.

Brake cooling system

In a motor vehicle having a front door opening with a front edge and a bottom edge, a structural assembly includes a first structural member, a second structural member, and an extension assembly. The first structural member extends along the bottom edge of the door opening. The second structural member extends along the front edge of the door opening. The second structural member upwardly extends from the first structural member. The extension assembly operates to transfer forces from the first structural member to the second structural member. The extension assembly includes a main body secured to the first structural member and a portion extending through an aperture in the first structural member and abutting the second structural member.

An improved cushioning bumper and stop member for a pivotal door such as used to cover a fuel opening in a vehicle body which is designed to be indexed by rotation in its mount to a precise position for establishing the door's closed position to create an outer surface flush with the surrounding surface of a vehicle body. The adjustable cushioning bumper member is mounted in a recessed door mount assembly so that it can be manually indexed by rotation to a desirable optimum position establishing the door's surface at a desired planar orientation relative to the vehicle's adjacent body surface.
