An apparatus for initiating a flush of a pressure assisted toilet includes a generally cylindrical housing having a top end, a bottom end, an internal surface and a discharge aperture having a first predetermined area. The apparatus also includes a first member at least partially interposed within the housing and having a plurality of apertures formed therein; a second member at least partially interposed within the housing and having a generally cylindrical hollow body with a top opening, a tapered upper portion adjacent the top opening, a sealing portion, and a lower extension defining a lower opening; a stem portion extending at least partially through the first member and the second member; and a first flow path extending at least from the bottom end of the housing, through at least one of the plurality of apertures formed in the first member, and through the lower opening of the second member.

An improved control valve in combination with a pressurized water closet having a housing, a spool rotatable within the housing, a valve stem threading engaging the spool but fixed from rotating relative to the housing and a needle valve extending from the valve stem and into the housing orifice, creating a self cleaning valve adjustable by rotating the spool, which adjusts the depth of the needle valve in the orifice, and thus adjusting the effective opening of the orifice.

A pressurized water closet operating system comprises an accumulator vessel for storing water and air under pressure. A flush valve controls the discharge of water from the vessel and comprises a cylinder having a lower end in fluid communication with the outlet of said vessel, a piston defining upper and lower chambers therein, an orifice in the piston, an aperture in the cylinder providing fluid communication between the interior of the accumulator vessel and the lower chamber in the cylinder, a valve on the piston normally closing the lower end of the cylinder so as to close the water outlet and openable upon upward movement of the piston to permit the discharge of water, and a normally closed flush valve actuator openable to effect fluid communication between ambient air pressure and the upper chamber in the cylinder whereby a fluid pressure differential across said piston effects upward movement thereof and opening of the valve.

Pressurized water closet flushing system

A pressurized water closet operating system comprises a water vessel, an external manifold mounted directly on said vessel, and an internally mounted flush valve assembly. The manifold comprises a water pressure regulator, an air induction system, and a manually operable flush valve actuator. The manually operable flush valve actuator controls the discharge of water under pressure from the water vessel into the toilet bowl.

Pressurized vessel for a water closet flushing system

A pressurized water closet operating system comprises an accumulator vessel having a flush valve assembly mounted internally thereof both of which are connected at all times to a source of water under pressure. A remote control valve hydraulically conditions the flush valve for the discharge of water under pressure from the accumulator vessel.
