Methods and systems for automatically predicting the probability of regulatory compliance approval based on data contained in a data structure. A data structure can be configured to include data collated and collected from one or more regulators (e.g., regulatory agencies) and one or more value chain participants. Such data is inclusive of data indicative of actual approval-request results of applications for regulatory approval by one or more regulators and variable weights assigned to different data elements. A prediction can be then made as to the probability that an application for regulatory approval by a value chain participant will be approved by a regulator based on the data collated and collected and contained in the data structure. This approach predicts the probability that an application for regulatory approval by a value chain participant will be approved and also predicts what is missing for a regulatory approval application.

Method and system for predicting the probability of regulatory compliance approval

Systems and methods detect a power supply device of an apparatus being disconnected from an external AC power source and control a DC power storage element of the apparatus to supply power to a processor and directional force sensor of the apparatus. Such systems and methods record directional force measurements output by the directional force sensor and a measure of time output by a clock device of the apparatus while the processor detects that the power supply is disconnected from the external AC power source to store directions, magnitudes, and time durations of the directional force measurements in a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium of the apparatus. A mathematical formula identifies a most advantageous location for placing the selected printing device. Next, successive contour regions surrounding this most advantageous location are defined such that any inner contour region is considered more advantageous than any outer contour region. A mark representing the most advantageous location and contour lines indicating the successive contour regions are plotted onto a floor plan of the space. The edited floor plan is then evaluated (e.g., either visually by a user or automatically) to determine whether the mark overlaps any fixed shapes and/or restricted-use areas. If the mark overlaps a fixed shape or restricted-use area, a different location can be selected that is within a closest possible contour region without overlapping any other fixed shapes or restricted-use areas.

A print and release print control system and method for optimizing network transmission and processing of rendering jobs. A document for rendering can be sent to a print driver and a print server specially programmed for performing a print and release operation. The print server includes a personal profile, a print job profile, and a profile associated with a network of rendering devices. The print server can send a job placeholder cover page to each of the designated rendering devices based on user preferences. The job placeholder cover page can be released from a selected rendering device by entering a secure release code. The print server can then detect the selected rendering device in which the cover page has been rendered and send the document to the selected printer. The print server can then clean up the cover pages sent to other printers if the submitted document is rendered.

Certain types of digital printers are susceptible to the deletion of image data toward the edge of print sheets of certain sizes. To avoid deletion of significant image information, an interpreter associated with a printer can reduce and translate each printed image slightly, to cause the printed image to be &ldquo;shrunk away&rdquo; from edge areas on the print sheet. A program associated with the interpreter reads the header of a job submitted thereto, and determines whether this image reduction is desirable, based on the identity or type of a source computer submitting the job.
