A device is provided, which includes a transceiver and a processor. The transceiver connects the device to one or more first stations and an access point, and the access point is connected to one or more second stations. The processor is coupled to the transceiver and is configured to perform operations including: building a first cross-BSS (basic service set) RSSI (received signal strength indication) measurement report; obtaining a second cross-BSS RSSI measurement report from the access point; in response to a link between the access point and at least one of the second stations being built, adjusting transmit power of the transceiver to satisfy a predetermined condition to transmit a data packet to one of the first stations using non-triggered base spatial reuse according to the first cross-BSS RSSI measurement report and the second cross-BSS RSSI measurement report.

A method for performing mesh control in a wireless communications system and associated apparatus are provided. The method may include: carrying a set of link information in a preamble of a first data transmission frame transmitted from the first mesh device to a second mesh device, wherein the set of link information may include at least one indication among the following indications: a source-destination relationship indication between the first mesh device and the second mesh device and at least one predicted signal strength measured for the first mesh device and the second mesh device; wherein a third mesh device is arranged to monitor wireless transmission in the wireless communications system to obtain the set of link information from the first data transmission frame, and determine spatial reuse (SR) transmission availability of the third mesh device based on the set of link information.

Method for performing mesh control in wireless communications system, and associated apparatus

A wireless device performs spatial reuse in a wireless local area network. When receiving a packet, the wireless device measures a received signal quality from a first portion of the packet, and determines a required signal quality for correctly decoding a payload of the packet based on information in a packet header. The wireless device compares the received signal quality with the required signal quality. If the received signal quality is lower than the required signal quality, the wireless device transmits a signal that overlaps in time and in frequency with a second portion of the packet. Alternatively, a wireless device may identify a Basic Service Set Identification (BSSID) of a received packet. If the BSSID indicates that the packet is an inter-BSS packet, the wireless device transmits a signal overlapping in time and in frequency with the packet before reception of a frame check sequence (FCS) in the packet.

Enhanced spatial reuse in a wireless local area network

The present invention provides a wireless communication circuitry including a processor, a communication path and a channel detection path. The communication path is configured to wirelessly communicate with an electronic device by using a first channel. The channel detection path is configured to detect at least one channel different from the first channel to generate a detection result while the communication path is wirelessly communicating with the electronic device by using the first channel. The processor determines a second channel based on the detection result, and the processor controls the communication path to switch to the second channel from the first channel to communicate with the electronic device.

A method for performing channel scan within a multi-channel broadcasting program receiver includes: calculating a plurality of frequency representatives of intermediate frequency (IF) signals of one or more received multi-channel broadcasting program signals within a specific band of a plurality of bands; and locating a video IF signal out of the IF signals according to the frequency representatives in order to determine a frequency of a video carrier corresponding to the specific band, wherein the frequency of the video carrier is utilized as a reference for tuning to an associated channel. An associated multi-channel broadcasting program receiver includes a tuner, a processing module, a memory and a controller. The tuner is arranged to select one of a plurality of channels. In particular, the controller controls channel scan and further utilizes the frequency of the video carrier corresponding to the specific band as the reference for tuning to the associated channel.

A digitized analog television signal processing system is disclosed, comprising an analog-to-digital converter, a demodulation unit, a decoding unit, and a control unit. The analog-to-digital converter samples a television signal comprising a video signal. The demodulation unit demodulates the video signal. The decoding unit decodes the demodulated video signal. The control unit adjusts the demodulation unit according to a signal quality indicator generated during and/or after the decoding of the decoding unit.

Digitized analog TV signal processing system

A television receiving system is disclosed, comprising an input terminal, a down-converter, an amplifier, an analog-to-digital converter (ADC), a demodulator, and an isolation circuit. The input terminal receives an RF signal. The down*converter, coupled to the input terminal, converts the RF signal to an intermediate frequency (IF) signal. The amplifier, coupled to the down-converter, amplifies the IF signal. The analog-to-digital converter, coupled to the amplifier, converts the amplified IF signal to digital data. The demodulator, coupled to the ADC, processes the digital data to generate baseband data. The isolation circuit, coupled between the amplifier and ADC, isolates the amplified IF signal from being affected by interference induced by the ADC.
