In some implementations, a user device may receive one or more first advertisements from one or more first beacons. Accordingly, the user device may exchange check-in messages with a remote device based on the one or more first advertisements. The user device may track a location using at least one or more signal strengths associated with the one or more first beacons and one or more signal strengths associated with one or more second beacons. The user device may further display and update a map based on tracking the location. The user device may receive one or more second advertisements from the one or more second beacons. Accordingly, the user device may request first information associated with the one or more second beacons that is different from second information associated with one or more third beacons. The user device may further display the first information.

Disclosed embodiments relate to a smart video conference environment. A live video of a conference participant can be segmented into a foreground, including the participant, and a background that excludes the participant. The background can be replaced by a virtual background determined based on one or more factors. The factors can include context data acquired from a calendar, content based on the context data, and transaction history. Further, interaction amongst conference participants can be monitored and utilized to update the background in one instance based on topics of conversation. Interactive content presented in the virtual background permits interaction by participants with the background. Furthermore, content can also be overlaid on the participant and the background in one instance.

Methods and systems are disclosed for presenting user specific information based on mobile device proximity to short-range wireless technology beacons. For example, by determining the proximity of a mobile device to a short-range wireless technology beacon, user specific information may be displayed on a user interface such that a user may have easy access to user specific information without the need to rely on their mobile device for such access, thereby conserving mobile device battery life and improving the experience of the user.
