A geographical location of a user device is determined. It is determined that the geographical location of the user device matches a digital element based on a distance difference between the geographical location of the user device and a geographical location of the digital element. In response to the determination that the geographical location of the user device matches the digital element, an indication that the digital element is selectable is provided. A representation of the digital element is provided without providing an auditory content of the digital element prior to the digital element being obtained. A user selection indication that selects the representation of the digital element to obtain the auditory content of the digital element is received. The auditory content of the digital element is provided upon receiving the user selection indication.

Audio content of a digital object associated with a geographical location

A digital element located within a region near a device is identified. The digital element is located at a dynamically updated location. It is determined that the digital element is to be rendered. A representation of the digital element is generated in a rendered view of at least a portion of the region. Content of the digital element is provided upon receiving an indication that the digital element has been selected.

Dynamic location based digital element

A geographical location of a user device is determined using a Global Positioning System. It is determined that the geographical location of the user device is within a geographical region of a digital element. In response to the determination that the geographical location of the user device is within a geographical region of the digital element, an indication that the digital element is selectable is provided. A representation of the digital element is provided without providing an auditory content of the digital element. A user selection indication that selects the representation of the digital element to obtain the auditory content of the digital element is received. The auditory content of the digital element is provided upon receiving the user selection indication.

Rendering a digital element is disclosed. A geographical location of an observing platform is determined. The digital element is selected. A directional heading value of the digital element is calculated based at least in part on the determined geographical location of the observing platform. A captured image associated with the geographical location is obtained. The digital element is rendered on the captured image at least in part by using the determined directional heading value.

Rendering an augmented reality object

Rendering a digital element is disclosed. An orientation of an observing platform is determined. It is determined whether a first rendering location of the digital element rendered on a captured image associated with a geographical location of the observing platform meets a criteria. In the event the first rendering location meets the criteria, a second rendering location of the digital element is biased using the determined orientation of the observing platform.

Biasing a rendering location of an augmented reality object

Improving a perception of an augmented reality object is disclosed. A new location of an observing platform is received. A filtered location of the observing platform is determined based at least in part on the new location in a manner that reduces a rate of change of a rendering location of the augmented reality object. A new relative position of the augmented reality object is calculated based at least in part on the filtered location. A display of the observing platform is updated using the new relative position.

Spatial filtering trace location

Rendering a digital element is disclosed. An indication that a device is within a region associated with the digital element is received. It is determined that the digital element is to be rendered. A representation of the digital element is generated in a rendered view of the region. The digital element is provided upon receiving an indication that the digital element has been selected.
