A telephony client application may dynamically generate call links to trigger calls from a web page. The telephony client application may detect web browsing activity on a personal computer and analyze incoming page data for text elements indicating contact numbers. Upon identification of possible contact numbers, the page data may be 'enhanced' or modified to include links to trigger a call to the contact number. The web browser may display the enhanced page. If the user selects one of the links, the telephony client application may send a request, to a service provider, to initiate communication with the selected contact number. In some configurations, a user may specify preferences for selecting a preferred phone number to originate the call. Accordingly, calls may be placed with a click on an enhanced web page from a desktop as if the user is placing a call from a mobile phone.

Dynamically generated call triggers

A cellular communication carrier may implement SMS/MMS services using both a traditional store-and-forward system and an enhanced messaging system having a common, service-maintained message store for access by multiple clients. In order to enhance interoperability between the systems, a synchronization client is installed on a mobile device having a traditional SMS/MMS messaging client. The synchronization client accesses the local message store of the mobile device and also communications with the enhanced messaging system in order to synchronize the local message store and the common message store of the enhanced messaging system.

A group of related devices includes devices that are associated with the same subscriber account, share the same cellular telephone line, and so forth. In an example, a related device that is a browser-enabled device may register with a service that enables the browser-enabled device to share a same account and/or same line with other related device(s). Based partly on the browser-enabled device registering with the service, the browser-enabled device may retrieve data associated with contacts (i.e., contact data) that is associated with at least one other related device that is a cellular communication device. Additionally, a user associated with the browser-enabled device and/or a user associated with the at least one other related device may make modifications to the contact data and techniques described herein may enable synchronization of such modifications between the related devices.

The transcript can be displayed to users in a dashboard while the emergency call is on hold, and a priority level of the emergency call can be adjusted within the call queue based on the transcript, such that urgent emergency calls can be prioritized and answered before less urgent emergency calls.

Systems, methods, and applications for providing consolidated call logs for both cellular and internet calls. The application (or, 'app') can retrieve (pull), or push, information from a cellular call log to a web real-time communications (WebRTC) call log, and vice-versa. The applications can retrieve call log information from a WebRTC client, for example, and then push this information to user equipment (UE) using a suitable messaging protocol. The app can also retrieve the cellular call log from the call log on the UE, or from cloud-based storage, and push it to the WebRTC client. A consolidated call log can be provided that provides all calls (i.e., cellular- and web-based calls) in a single log. The consolidated call log can also include tabs, or other features, to enable the calls to be displayed separately by source.
