A non-volatile storage apparatus (e.g., an SSD, embedded memory, memory card, etc.) comprises non-volatile memory (e.g., one or more memory dies) connected to a control circuit (e.g., controller, state machine, microcontroller, etc.). The non-volatile memory is configured to have multiple regions for storing different types of data using separate streams. The control circuit is configured to receive a request to write data to a logical address, automatically choose a stream (and corresponding destination region) by determining which of the multiple regions/streams has a sequence of logical addresses associated with previous writes that best fits the logical address for the received data, and store the received data in the chosen destination region of the non-volatile memory using the chosen stream.

In one example, an electrical isolation structure includes a conductor base, a cover coupled to the conductor base and defining an isolation chamber, a containment shield disposed on the conductor base within the isolation chamber, and a biasing assembly positioned between the cover and the containment shield. The containment shield defines a containment chamber configured to enclose the plurality of electrode assemblies. The containment shield is configured to at least partially contain the arc products within the containment chamber. The biasing assembly is configured to permit the containment shield to move away from the conductor base to thereby define a gap between the conductor base and the containment shield to enable at least some of the arc gases to vent from the containment chamber.

The containment shield is operative to move relative to the cover in response to a change in pressure produced by the arc within the containment chamber. An isolation assembly is coupled to at least one of the cover and the containment shield and configured to prevent the cover from contacting the containment shield.

Further, a controller is provided that is coupled to the electromechanical actuator to control the electromechanical actuator to adjust the length of the plurality of springs.

A method for tracking a contour in cardiac phase contrast flow magnetic resonance (MR) images includes estimating a global translation of a contour in a reference image in a time sequence of cardiac phase contrast flow MR images to a contour in a current image in the time sequence of images by finding a 2-dimensional translation vector that maximizes a similarity function of the contour in the reference image and the current image calculated over a bounding rectangle containing the contour in the reference image, estimating an affine transformation of the contour in the reference image to the contour in the current image, and performing a constrained local deformation of the contour in the current image.

A system and method is disclosed for demodulating RF amplitude modulated signals in a demodulator circuit of an EPC0 compliant RFID tag. A receiver for high-speed indirect synchronous digital data transmission includes an elastic buffer receiving an incoming data stream containing embedded timing information preceding a data sequence, generating a recovered clock from the timing information, initially synchronizing the frequency of a local clock to the recovered clock, and accommodating subsequent drift between the recovered and local clocks across the duration of the data sequence while tolerating clock jitter. Received data is clocked into a FIFO buffer within the elastic buffer based on the recovered clock and read out based upon the local clock, with the buffer expanding or contracting by adjustment of an index to accommodate skew of greater than one clock period. Expansion or contraction of the FIFO buffer is disabled during periods when clock jitter is likely, such as periods immediately following an index change.

A lock detection circuit is disclosed that is capable of detecting when a phase locked loop circuit is in a locked or unlocked condition. The invention comprises an exclusive OR gate, a deglitch unit, a gate circuit, a count lock circuit, a count unlock circuit, and a flip flop circuit. The deglitch unit outputs a clear &ldquo;clr&rdquo; signal only when UP signals and DN signals from a phase frequency detector in the phase locked loop circuit are mismatched in time by more than a predetermined period of time. Detection of a locked condition or an unlocked condition is made by processing &ldquo;clr&rdquo; signals in the count lock circuit and in the count unlock circuit.

A charge sharing suppression circuit for a charge pump circuit in a phase locked loop is disclosed that is capable of suppressing charge sharing due to static phase error in the phase locked loop. A return path is provided to allow charge pump currents to flow when static phase error exists. A first switch in the return path closes in response to an UP signal from a phase frequency detector and a second switch closes in response to an inverted version of a DN signal. A third switch in the return path closes in response to an inverted version of an UP signal and a fourth switch closes in response to a DN signal. The return path is disabled in the absence of static phase error.
