A data file describes a document to be generated and stores an instruction to provide constituent data of the document via a network. The data file is accessed at a local computer, and the document is generated based on the data file. The generated document is communicated via the network to a remote computer. At the local computer, the instruction to provide constituent data is processed using a processor of the local computer. The constituent data is provided via the network to the remote computer as an update of the generated document.

Data file and rule driven synchronous or asynchronous document generation

A system and method for selecting the number of machines from a cloud cluster needed for performing identical tasks with different inputs and outputs are disclosed. An example method receives an administrative task request from a user and determines the number of computing devices necessary to perform the request. The request may then be sharded into tasks across clusters of computing devices and the tasks may be run. The results from each computing device may be combined into a single result output and the output may be provided to a user.

Run benchmark or analysis tools against massive repository of archived webpages on machines in the cloud for continuous builds or AD-HOC requests

A continuous build and test system, method, and computer-readable medium, performed by one or more processors is described. The system includes an input for inputting a test specification that imports an environment manager. An environment manager object is created upon processing of the test specification, and delegates management functions to one or more specialized manager objects. The environment manager includes config data that designate paths to one or more binary files, and token settings specifying resources to be used during testing of the binary files. The environment manager selects a test platform to be used in testing the one or more binary files. The specialized manager objects perform testing, including bringing up the one or more binary files in the selected test platform, creating the data resources based on the token settings, performing the instructed tests, and cleaning up created data resources.
