Ultrasound imaging systems and methods are disclosed to reduce speckle. The systems and methods include the use of an ultrasound device and a controller. The ultrasound device includes an end effector having a first jaw member and a second jaw member opposite the first jaw member. The first jaw member and the second jaw member move relative to one another to grasp tissue therebetween. A first ultrasound transducer is disposed on the first jaw member and a second ultrasound transducer is disposed on the second jaw member. The controller receives a first signal from the first ultrasound transducer and a second signal from the second ultrasound transducer and generates an image based on the first signal and the second signal.

Systems and methods for speckle reduction

An ultrasonic surgical instrument is disclosed, and includes a handle assembly, an elongate tubular member, and an end effector. The elongate tubular member extends from the handle assembly and defines a channel therethrough. The end effector is coupled with a distal end of the elongate tubular member and includes a first jaw member pivotably attached to the tubular member, and a second jaw member longitudinally movable within the channel of the elongate tubular member. One of the first jaw member and the second jaw member includes at least one ultrasonic transducer.

Clamp ultrasound probe for lung surgery

A wireless laparoscopic camera system includes a housing having proximal and distal ends and a lens disposed at the distal end thereof. A chip package is disposed within the housing. The chip package is positioned proximally of the lens and includes an image sensor, a processing component, and a wireless transmitter. The image sensor, the processing component, and the wireless transmitter are configured as bare die and are stacked and coupled in sequence with respect to one another to form the chip package. The chip package is configured to convert an optical image produced by the lens into an electrical signal. The signal is transmitted wirelessly to a wireless receiver positioned remote of the housing.

These devices, systems and methods include implantable magnetic devices and sensing devices that facilitate locating the implantable magnetic devices such that a surgeon can accurately locate and place devices at particular points of interest during a medical procedure.
