In a distributed processing environment, an adaptor object on a first computer creates a disk cache file that includes a copy of data acquired from a data source. The performance of a CRUD operation on the copy of the data is recorded in a disk cache change history. A business intelligence object requests the data as the data existed prior to the performance of the CRUD operation from a second computer. The second computer, determines that the requested data does not exist on the second computer. The first computer determines, in response to a request from the second computer that the requested data exists on the first computer. The requested data is reconstructed from the copy in the cache to create reconstructed data. A local copy of the reconstructed data is created on the second computer; and a reference to the local copy is provided to the requesting object.

Reconstructing distributed cached data for retrieval

A hardware and operating system independent platform and/or run time architecture that implements a configuration and algorithmic based application and process for enabling multiple virtual machines or internal networked physical servers (hosts) to be organized into groups or 'realms' in real time and against specific configurable metrics. The configurable metrics include one or more of the following; load or processing capacity availability, cost of CPU processing, location based on risk, importance to business continuity priority requirements, disaster recovery strength and priority, geographic location of host aligned to IP, and any other client specific or custom requirements. A realm manager balances all of these configurable metrics and creates an algorithm to address allocation. The algorithm is fully elastic, allowing for automatic opening and closing of virtual machines to accommodate any internal or external changes.

Virtual machine (VM) realm integration and management

A system for operating a legacy software application is presented. The system includes a distributed processing service. A wrapper software object is configured both to receive processing requests to a legacy software application from outside the distributed processing service and to send the processing requests using the distributed processing service. Additionally, an encapsulated software object includes the legacy software application and an exoskeleton connection service. The exoskeleton connection service is both configured to accept processing requests from the distributed processing service, and mapped to an application programming interface of the legacy software application.

Legacy application migration to real time, parallel performance cloud

A system and integration infrastructure to provide a distributed matrix or neural network of connected real-time decision support modules designed to perform business intelligence evaluations in real time. The system and integration infrastructure provide a network of intelligence superimposed upon any company's existing IT data centers, and cloud computing connections. The system is highly customizable to the unique business model deployed by the client company within the best practices of the client company's industry. Whether or not the client company has integrated their diverse enterprise systems, the elements of the matrix are annealed to the various data sources, transaction logs and client software installations currently deployed. These matrix elements or neurons are designed to house critical operational data, determined by the operational model of the client company to be of critical importance. When combined with monitor neurons, they automatically assess the gap between the desired state of a critical element and the current condition in real time. Trigger conditions are pre-established, but modified by an executive controller in real-time, and the system is pre programmed to automatically respond in a prescribed manner to critical conditions having been met even when these conditions come from otherwise stove-piped enterprise applications.

System and method for employing the use of neural networks for the purpose of real-time business intelligence and automation control

A system and methodthat provides legacy software applicationsto be incorporated into a massively parallel and distribution processing model in the Cloud, with a high performance parallel and distributed computing (cloud) 'wrapper'around legacy and current systems to enable, without legacy product code change or invasive addition/editing, the legacy product to access and fully utilize the power and ability of distributed computing within the cloud through a Pneuron 'cortex' platform virtual server. The system and method also provides the ability to distribute multiple, concurrent instances of the legacy applications, dynamically manage the load volumes, and automatically create and remove new virtual machines based upon demand requirements.

A method and system for large data and distributed disk cache processing in a Pneuron platform. The system and method include three specific interoperable but distributed functions: the adapter/cache Pneuronand distributed disk files, a dynamic memory mapping tree, and distributed disk file cleanup. The system allows for large data processing considerations and the ability to access and acquire information from large data setsand rapidly distribute and provide the information to subsequent Pneuronsfor processing. The system also provides the ability to store large result sets, the ability to deal with sequential as well as asynchronous parallel processing, the ability to address large unstructured data; web logs, email, web pages, etc., as well as the ability to handle failures to large block processing.

Method and process for enabling distributing cache data sources for query processing and distributed disk caching of large data and analysis requests

A method and system for the integration of disparate data stored within an Information Technology infrastructure of a company is provided. The system and method enables holistic, real time control of data discovery, retrieval and analysis. The system combines data mining, retrieval and analytics at the source of the data, thereby solving traditional problems with disparate and distributed data, systems, business processes and analytics across an organization. The system enables a user to configure and target data, then apply rules, workflows and analytics from one central source. This process is accomplished by distributing functions in the form of software pneurons against the existing infrastructure for maximum processing while preserving a robust and extendable suite of definitions. The system uses the existing application, network and hardware assets and enables connection to the native data, maps only the data fields that need to be mapped to carry out the desired analysis, runs the analysis and then returns the data to a central location to be assembled, analyzed, organized and/or reported.

Distributed analytics method for creating, modifying, and deploying software pneurons to acquire, review, analyze targeted data

Summary information for documents are stored as entries in a table in a relational database. Each entry includes a unique identifier, value(s) for a set of attributes and rendering information for the corresponding document. A collation order is obtained that defines a sort order for the documents based on the set of attributes. An index is generated based on the collation order and includes the rendering information for each document. In response to a rendering request or other query, a query that uses index-only access for the summary table can be used to obtain the rendering information. Further, a set of marker values can be included to provide efficient navigation of the index. Still further, additional functionality can be included to display the documents in a hierarchical structure. To this extent, the invention can automatically re-categorize data when the child locations of a hierarchical location exceed a specified number and/or link other relational data to a hierarchical location.
