Methods and apparatus to identify an emotion evoked by media are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a synthesizer to generate a first synthesized sample based on a pre-verbal utterance associated with a first emotion. A feature extractor is to identify a first value of a first feature of the first synthesized sample. The feature extractor to identify a second value of the first feature of first media evoking an unknown emotion. A classification engine is to create a model based on the first feature. The model is to establish a relationship between the first value of the first feature and the first emotion. The classification engine is to identify the first media as evoking the first emotion when the model indicates that the second value corresponds to the first value.

Methods and apparatus to identify a mood of media

Provided are systems, methods, and devices for providing topical similarities in a knowledge database. A knowledge database containing a number of articles is accessed, and clickstream data for the knowledge database is obtained including aggregated counts of user clicks on links within articles in the knowledge database. The clickstream data is sorted by source article, with each source article corresponding to a number of target articles that the source article links to. A directed article graph is constructed based on the sorted clickstream data. An input search term is received from an input device, and then an unbounded graph search is performed on the directed graph based on the input search term. Finally, a ranking heuristic for a predefined number of articles in the knowledge database is provided corresponding to topical similarity of the articles to the input search term.

Detecting topical similarities in knowledge databases

Provided are systems, methods, and devices for providing word replaceability information through word vectors. Within a database system, a text document is received, then processed into a number of sub-sentences or sub-segments. The processing involved delimiting one or more sentences within the text document by one or more punctuation marks. Next, a number of n-gram combinations are generated according to co-appearances of n-grams within the sub-sentences. Distance metrics are determined between the n-gram co-appearances for each n-gram combination. Finally, word replaceability information is provided for one or more words or n-grams within the text document, based on the distance metric.

Provided are systems, methods, and devices for extracting unconscious meaning from media corpora. One or more corpora are received from one or more media databases. A number of phrases are extracted from the corpora, and then disambiguated according to natural language processing methods. One or more criteria are then selected to be used for phrase analysis, and the phrases are then analyzed to extract unconscious meaning based on the one or more criteria. The phrase analysis involves machine learning or predictive analysis methods. The results of the phrase analysis are then provided to one or more client devices, with the results containing findings of unconscious meaning for the phrases.

A system may include a wearable infant monitoring device, transmission interface, and monitoring hub. The wearable infant monitoring device includes sensors that detect activity and position of an infant. The monitoring hub receives the measurement data and includes a processor configured to determine the infant's receptivity to learning. Learning materials are then provided to a caregiver through a display interface based on the infant's receptivity to learning.

A mood model is created based on the first feature. The mood model is to establish a relationship between the first feature and the first emotion. A second value of the first feature of first media evoking an unknown emotion is identified. The unknown emotion is identified as the first emotion when the mood model indicates that the second value corresponds to the first value.

A computer implemented system, method, and article of manufacture provide access to a drawing. A server computer has one or more server component applications. One or more drawing files are created by a first drawing application and stored on the server computer. A search server component application executes on the server computer and provides a query engine that allows queries of the one or more drawing files to locate data. A conversion server component application executes on the server computer and dynamically convert the drawing files into a drawing file format viewable by a client application executing on a client compute. The server component applications are further configured to provide the one or more drawing files that have been dynamically converted to the client computer.
