The present invention relates to a retrieval system for retrieving a well component, such as a plug, from a well tubular metal structure having a restriction and a top, said retrieval system comprising a tool string having a longitudinal extension and comprising a connection tool configured to connect with the well component, a force generator having a first part and a second part which is connectable with the connection tool and movable in relation to the first part for providing the axial force in the longitudinal extension, an anchoring section having at least one projectable element for anchoring the tool string, wherein the retrieval system further comprises a safety unit surrounding the tool string and having at least one wall and at least one abutment face configured to abut the restriction, said at least one projectable element abutting. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a downhole system and to a downhole well component retrieval method.

Retrieval system

A downhole stroking tool () comprising a housing (), a first chamber (), a first tool part () comprising a pump unit () providing pressurized fluid to the chamber, a shaft () penetrating the chamber, and a first piston () dividing the first chamber into a first chamber section () and a second chamber section (). The piston is connected to or forms part of the housing which forms part of a second tool part () and is slidable in relation to the shaft so that the housing moves in relation to the shaft, the shaft being stationary in relation to the pump unit during pressurization of the first or the second chamber section, thereby generating a pressure on the piston, wherein the shaft is fixedly connected with the first tool part, and wherein the housing is slidable in relation to the first tool part and overlaps the first tool part.

Downhole stroking tool

The present invention relates to a release device () for releasably connecting a downhole object (), such as a running tool or a plug, to a setting tool, the release device extending between a proximal end () adapted to be coupled to the setting tool and a distal end () adapted to be coupled to the downhole object, the release device comprising a base element () extending in a longitudinal direction and a connecting element arranged in continuation of the base element, the connecting element () constituting the distal end of the release device and being adapted to be coupled to the downhole object, wherein the connecting element is releasably coupled to the base element by an activatable release mechanism (). Further, the invention relates to a downhole setting tool for setting an object in a wellbore and to a method for disconnecting a downhole object.

Setting tool

A pulling tool for latching onto an object, such as a plug, downhole in a wellbore includes a base element extending in a longitudinal direction from a proximal end for being connected to a wireline tool to a distal end adapted to engage the object, and a latching mechanism encircling the base element and being movable in the longitudinal direction between a deactivated position and an activated position, having a piston sleeve, a key element for latching onto the downhole object, the key element being slidably received inside the piston sleeve and extending from an end of the piston sleeve towards the distal end of the base element, and a piston spring forcing the piston sleeve in the longitudinal direction towards the proximal end of the base element.

Pulling tool

An anchor tool for anchoring a downhole tool within a casing, a well, or any other downhole, hollow space. The tool has a longitudinal tool body with a center axis extending through the tool body in the center of the body, a first recess, a second recess, a third recess, and a fourth recess in the tool body; and a first anchor, a second anchor, a third anchor, and a fourth anchor. The first anchor is provided in the first recess, and so forth, and the anchors are outwards movable in the recesses for anchoring the tool. Each anchor provided in the recesses extends through the tool body transverse to and across the center axis and the anchors and the corresponding recesses are situated in the tool body for providing a symmetrical anchoring of the anchor tool.

Anchor tool

A stroker tool for providing an axial force in an axial direction of a downhole tool. The stroker tool has a pump, a driving unit for driving the pump, and an axial force generator. The generator has an elongated piston housing having a first and a second end, and a piston provided on a shaft, and the shaft penetrates the housing for transmitting the axial force to another tool. The piston is provided in the piston housing so that the shaft penetrates the piston and each end of the piston housing and divides the housing into a first and a second chamber, and the first and the second chamber are each fluidly connected to the pump via at least one duct so that the pump can pump fluid into one chamber by sucking fluid from the other chamber for moving the piston within the housing, and thereby moving the shaft back and forth.
