The present disclosure relates to a field device of automation technology, comprising a housing and a sensor unit sensitive for a process variable of a medium. The housing has a passageway to accommodate the sensor unit and the sensor unit protrudes from the housing through a terminal opening of the passageway. A clamping angle and a screw are introduced into the housing in a region of the housing adjoining the opening of the passageway. By means of the screw the clamping angle is shiftable in the housing a predeterminable distance in the direction of the sensor unit, and the clamping angle shifted in the direction of the sensor unit is embodied to press with a first clamping angle section of the clamping angle radially on a clamping region of the sensor unit arranged in the housing and facing the opening of the passageway.

Automation field device

The present disclosure relates to a cover-securing mechanism for a transmitter housing closed by a screwed-on cover. The cover-securing mechanism includes a securement pin with a screw arranged at a first end region of the securement pin. A passageway, which is embodied to accommodate the securement pin, is integrated in the cover. A groove includes a circularly shaped section and is introduced into a cover facing region of the transmitter housing. The securement pin is securable at a transmitter housing far end of the cover in the passageway such that in a secured state a second end region of the securement pin protrudes inwardly into the groove and, as such, a twisting of the cover screwed onto the transmitter housing is constrained relative to the transmitter housing.

Cover-securing means for a transmitter housing

A field device for use in hygienic applications in process and automation technology is disclosed, including a sensor element, an electrical circuit, a heating element, a housing, having an outside and an inside in which the sensor element, the electrical circuit and the heating element are arranged and mounted, and an external energy supply unit, wherein the field device possesses two connection pins, to which the sensor element and the electrical circuit are connected and enabling an electrical connection with the external electrical current supply, whereby forming a first electrical current loop, and wherein a second electrical current loop is arranged such that the heating element is in electrical contact with the external energy unit via one of the two connection pins and a third connection pin, whereby the second electrical current loop forms a parallel circuit with the first electrical current loop.

Field device for use in hygienic applications in process- and automation technology and method for its manufacture

A measuring transducer for metrological registering of a pressure to be measured as relative pressure referenced to a reference pressure reigning in the environment of the measuring transducer, comprising: a housing; a relative pressure sensor arranged in the housing; a pressure supply, via which the pressure to be measured is fed to the relative pressure sensor, and a reference pressure supply, via which the reference pressure is fed to the relative pressure sensor. An entrance of and to the reference pressure supply communicates with an opening in a housing outer wall, on whose exterior the reference pressure acts, characterized in that a pressure equalizing element is applied in the entrance of the reference pressure supply, and the pressure equalizing element has a securement element, a filter element and a protective cap.

Pressure equalizing element

A relative pressure sensor () includes a pressure measuring cell () having a measuring diaphragm (), a main body () which is connected to said measuring diaphragm, and a the measuring chamber between the measuring diaphragm and main body, a reference pressure being applied to the measuring chamber by a reference pressure channel () which runs from a rear face () of the main body () through the main body (); a clamping ring (); and a housing () which has at least one housing body () with a measuring cell chamber (), wherein the pressure measuring cell () is clamped in the measuring cell chamber () by the clamping ring (). The housing has a reference air opening () which communicates with the reference pressure channel () by a reference air path which has a path volume which is separate from the volume of the measuring cell chamber, wherein the reference air path has a section which runs along the rear face of the main body, wherein the section is bounded by the rear face of the main body and a guide body, which guide body is clamped in against the rear face of the main body and covers an opening of the reference pressure channel () in the rear face of the main body.
