A process and a system for monitoring at least one concentration of a gas in a monitored area includes generating data by a mobile gas measuring device (), whose position in the monitored area is determined or is known and transmitting the data directly or indirectly to a central data processing unit (). The data are compared with at least one limit value, and an information signal is outputted by the at least one mobile gas measuring device and/or by the central data processing unit in case of an undershooting or overshooting of the limit value. The monitored area is divided into at least two zones () and zone-specific parameters are assigned to the zones. A functionality of the mobile gas measuring device is set and/or changed based on the current position of the gas measuring device and based on at least one of the zone-specific parameters.

Process and system for monitoring at least one concentration of a gas in a monitored area

A data analysis system includes a gas measuring device (), providing current data and/or historical data, which are stored in a memory (), and a data processing unit (). The data includes information on a gas measuring device time of data acquisition. The device transmits data to an interface configured to receive the data and to feed data to the data processing unit and/or to an additional memory (). A data identification unit () is configured to add a specific identifier to the data and add a piece of information on a system time during the data transmission and/or the gas measuring device time during the data transmission. The data processing unit is configured to process the data provided by the gas measuring device and/or by the additional memory such that the system time and the gas measuring device time are taken into consideration.

Data analysis system, mobile gas measuring device and data processing unit for such a system

A process and a system analyze data of at least one mobile gas measuring device as well as of a stationary gas measuring device (). Data are generated by the mobile gas measuring device and by the stationary gas measuring device () as a function of a gas concentration and are transmitted to a central data processing unit (). Further, the data are supplemented with information in relation to a location of the data generation before, during or after the transmission. The processed data of the mobile gas measuring device and of the stationary gas measuring device () are sent to a data analysis unit (), in which a joint analysis of the processed data of the mobile gas measuring device and of the stationary gas measuring device () is carried out for generating at least one result value.

Process for analyzing data of at least one mobile gas measuring device and of a stationary gas measuring device as well as system for monitoring at least one gas concentration

A process and system analyze data provided by a mobile gas measuring device () for generating an alarm. An alarm management system implements the process and system. The measured data are transmitted to another gas measuring device and/or to a data processing unit () and are compared to a limit value. If a limit value violation is detected, an alarm control signal is generated for implementing an instruction for action. A hazard potential is determined and is assigned to the limit value violation in the gas measuring device, the other device, and/or in the data processing unit, taking into consideration weighted influencing variables. Upon a first limit value violation and a second limit value violation being determined, the hazard potentials of these violations are compared and a prioritization is determined based on the comparison. The generation of the alarm control signals is carried out based on the determined prioritization.
