A current switch control system includes a first controllable switch, a first current switching controller, a second controllable switch, a second current switching controller, and a reference value controller. Each current switching controller generates a pulse width modulated switching signal to change the state of one of the respective controllable switches based on a current reference value and a current measured value corresponding to current flow through the respective controllable switch. The reference value controller changes the current reference values used by the current switching controllers based on the pulse width modulated switching signals for the controllable switches.

Current switch control means

A step-up converter includes a first inductance electrically connecting a first DC voltage input of the step-up converter to a first junction point, a step-up converter switch connecting the first junction point to a second DC voltage input and a second DC voltage output of the step-up converter, a first diode connecting the first junction point to a first DC voltage output of the step-up converter, and a snubber circuit comprising a charging path and a discharging path. The discharging path runs as a series connection of a capacitor and a second diode from the first junction point to the first DC voltage output, and the charging path is connected at its one end to a junction point between the capacitor and the second diode and is arranged such that the capacitor is charged when the step-up converter switch is switched on.

Step-up converter, corresponding inverter and method of operation

An inductor device has a plurality of inductor windings arranged on a common magnetic core and electrically connected, parallel to one another, to a common connection at one end of the inductor windings. The inductor windings are implemented by a one-part coil form arranged on the common magnetic core and comprising the common connection of the inductor windings. The inductor windings are wound around their common connection and the common magnetic core.
