A social network post subject area of a social network post is identified using text analysis. A longevity of social network posts related to the social network post subject area on each of multiple hosting platforms is determined using monitored multi-platform post-longevity information. A hosting platform with a determined highest longevity of the related social network posts is recommended from among the multiple hosting platforms. Responsive to user approval of the recommended hosting platform, the social network post is posted to the recommended hosting platform with the determined highest longevity of the related social network posts.

System for post self awareness

According to one embodiment of the present invention, a system for processing a request for a document that is unavailable on a network identifies one or more alternative documents on the network with content similar to a previously accessed document and relating to a group. The system presents the identified one or more alternative documents as a result of a request for the previously accessed document when the previously accessed document is unavailable on the network. Embodiments of the present invention further include a method and computer program product for providing alternative documents in substantially the same manners described above.

Distributed failover for unavailable content

A computer detects a question from a participant and determines whether the question is marked to be directed to a particular participant. If marked, the question is directed towards the particular participant, otherwise the question is transmitted to all participants of the web conference. If the computer does not detect an answer to the question from a participant, the participants are reminded of the unanswered question. If the computer detects an answer from a participant, the computer determines whether the answer has been marked by the answering participant as related to another question and answer thread. The computer moves the question and answer to the related thread if marked as related, otherwise the question and answer are saved as a new thread. The entirety of the web conference threads are then saved by the computer in an organized database.

Associating related threads in a question and answer session

An approach for creating a clickable link within a presentation during a live collaborative web meeting is provided. The approach identifies one or more uniform resource locators within the presentation. The approach retrieves metadata for each of the one or more uniform resource locators within the presentation. The approach presents the metadata for each of the one or more uniform resource locators with a corresponding image from the presentation. The approach creates the clickable link for each of the one or more uniform resource locators with the corresponding image.

Clickable links within live collaborative web meetings

A method, computer program product, and system for identifying attributes of a link embedded in a digital communication, generating a list of alternative links based on the identified link attributes by searching the internet for alternative links; organizing the list of alternative links based on characteristics of a recipient of the digital communication, and selecting an alternate link from the list of alternative links based on the characteristics of the recipient, wherein the selected alternate link provides comparable content to the recipient as the link.
