A social grill method and system can include: a social surface including a top surface, a side extension, and a rounded edge between the top surface and the side extension, the side extension extended down away from the top surface; a chassis mounted below the social surface, the chassis including a fixed connection and a lid pivot; a mounting bracket coupled to the lid pivot; a lid coupled to the mounting bracket, the mounting bracket configured to rotate about the lid pivot and enable an open configuration with the lid retracted under the social surface and a closed configuration with the lid extending up over the social surface.

A method and apparatus can include: a body; a hood covering coupled to the body, the hood covering including an outer shell, the outer shell including an exhaust port; a flue attached to the outer shell, the flue including a flue output and a flue input; and a grating mounted within the body.

Flue and vent grilling system

A method and system can include: providing a grill body; mounting a cross-flame burner within the grill body, the cross-flame burner including an arched extension, a longitudinal portion, and a gas conduit, the arched extension extending laterally from the longitudinal section, the cross-flame burner including burner ports within the arched extension for providing a flame from a fuel and air mixture from the gas conduit; and affixing a Venturi body to the gas conduit.

Five burners are arranged in the form of an 'x.' The units are covered by a grate including two side sections, each covering two burners, and a central section covering the center burner. The side sections have concave inner side edges that mate with a circular segment of the center grate.

Gas cooktop

Disclosed is a convection oven capable of producing a 'true' convection cooking environment with a single gas burner disposed underneath the oven bottom in a combustion box. A fan compartment is disposed substantially at the center of the back wall, and defined by a baffle plate with a central fan inlet, a plurality of rearward-extending flanges, and a portion of the oven back wall. A centrifugal fan is disposed within the fan compartment. A flue spout is disposed between the oven cavity and the fan compartment and is adapted to join the combustion box and the oven cavity in fluid communication. Thus the centrifugal fan, located substantially centrally within the fan compartment will draw hot air and flue products upward from the combustion box, through the flue spout, through the central fan inlet, and blow the hot air and flue products into the oven cavity through peripheral fan outlets formed in the fan compartment. The oven may alternatively be operated in a fan-off mode, thus allowing the oven cavity to be heated by the upward flow of air due to natural convection.

Cooktop

A gas stove burner has a base having an annular outer edge and a lower ring sitting on the base, forming therewith a lower compartment, and having an outer edge forming with the base outer edge an outwardly open annular slot communicating with the lower compartment. An upper ring sitting on the lower ring forms therewith an upper compartment and has an outer edge forming with the lower-ring outer edge an array of outwardly open holes communicating with the upper compartment. The upper-ring outer edge has a diameter generally equal to a diameter of the lower-ring outer edge. A gas/air mixture is fed to each of the compartments so that the gas will issue from the holes to form an upper flame and from the slot to form a lower flame of substantially the same diameter.

Gas stove burner

A convertible barbecue capable of grill cooking and rotisserie cooking. The barbecue includes one or more radiant such as briquette trays for holding refractory briquettes underneath a food item to be cooked. In the grill-cooking mode, the briquette trays are supported horizontally underneath a grill rack, while in the rotisserie mode a front briquette tray is removed and a rear briquette tray is angled so as to be out from underneath a spit for rotisserie cooking of food items. In an alternative configuration both front and rear briquette trays may be repositioned toward the rotisserie spit.
