Systems and methods are described for automatically assigning roles for an incident to user profiles using machine learning techniques to optimize the overall suitability of the automatic role assignments and to adapt to manual role reassignments. One or more roles of a plurality of roles for an incident are automatically assigned to each user profile of a plurality of user profiles by the computer-based system applying a combinatorial optimization routine. An indication is displayed on a screen of a determined relative suitability of a first user profile for each role of the plurality of roles. The computer-based system is configured to receive a manual reassignment selection of a different role of the plurality of roles to be assigned to the first user profile and the combinatorial optimization routine is updated based on the manual reassignment selection.

A method for docking an unmanned aerial vehicle ('UAV') equipped with a wireless communications system. The method includes coupling the UAV to a docking device that is configured to provide power and data communication to the UAV via a physical interface. The method further includes receiving, at a docking device controller, an identity of the UAV, and determining, based on the received identity of the UAV, an organization associated with the UAV. The method also includes accessing, via the docking device controller, a collaborative operating profile associated with the determined organization and the identity of the UAV. One example method includes receiving, at an electronic computing device, a user query and identifying a time window in the past associated with the user query. The method further includes determining that the user query relates to a public safety incident. The method further includes generating a response to the user query. The method further includes storing the response such that information included in the response is added to one of (i) timeline information associated with a user of a communication device at a time commensurate with the time window and (ii) timeline information associated with the public safety incident at a time commensurate with the time window.

A device, system and method for deploying communication devices based on historic incidents is provided. Predicted incident risks for a given time are determined for regions, based on distance and time differences of historic incidents, relative to the given time and a region over a first time period and a distance from a region, and incident prediction parameters for weighting the differences. From the predicted incident risks, a subset of the regions having highest predicted incident risks is determined, and a prediction efficiency is determined based on a number of the incidents in the subset relative to a total number of the incidents for the regions. The first time period, the distance, and the incident prediction parameters are varied when determining the predicted incident risks and the subset, to maximize the prediction efficiency for the second time period. Commands are generated for deploying communication devices to the subset.
