An elongate stabilizer for an archery bow includes an elongate housing having a plurality of separate internal chambers suitable to receive damping material or damping devices therein. One end of the stabilizer may be mounted on a bow riser in normal manner. In a preferred embodiment of the stabilizer, separate chambers extend inwardly from opposite ends of the elongate housing and are closed by end pieces secured to the opposite ends of the housing. The chambers are separated by an intermediate portion of the housing. Damping material or devices may be contained in one or more of the chambers and when more than one chamber contains damping material or devices, such damping material or devices may be of different types.

Multi-chamber stabilizer for archery bows

A limb mounting system for archery bows provides limb mounting pockets which receive and restrain the bottom, sides, and top of received limbs. The mounting system is particularly suited to bow limbs made up of a pair of spaced, side-by-side limb elements. With the top restraint provided by the pockets, the pockets, when pivotally mounted to the riser, can include a rotation limiting device to limit rotation of the pockets and prevent unintentional disassembly of the bow upon unintended release of the pockets.

An archery bow riser includes a main riser section and a reinforcing riser section joined to the ends of the main riser section and spaced from the main riser section toward the bow string. Interconnecting members extend between the main and reinforcing riser sections intermediate their lengths so that each section reinforces the other to provide a strong and rigid riser. One interconnecting member preferably constitutes an extension of the lower portion of the sight window and the arrow shelf from the main riser section to the reinforcing riser section to form a built-in overdraw for the riser. The cable guide is mounted on the reinforcing riser section and is vertically positioned closer to the center of the riser than is possible with conventional risers.

Archery bow riser

An archery bow handle riser includes a hand grip portion with a self or integral throat portion and a heel member mounting portion to accept a variety of different replaceable heel members. In this way a narrow throat portion can be maintained while providing a wide variety of heel members to customize the hand grip as preferred by an individual archer.
