An automotive exhaust aftertreatment system includes a reagent mixer. The reagent mixer includes a mixer body and doser that injects a reagent into the mixer body. The reagent mixer mixes an exhaust gases and the reagent prior to the exhaust gases being discharged from the reagent mixer.

The present disclosure relates to mixing devices included in automotive exhaust treatment systems. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to reducing agent mixers for mixing reducing agents with exhaust streams to induce a chemical reaction between the reducing agent and exhaust gasses to reduce Nitrous Oxides (NOx) in the exhaust gas. Reducing agent mixers in accordance with the present disclosure include reducing agent delivery devices for conducting reducing agents into an internal mixing space through which exhaust gasses flow.

Reducing agent mixer

An automotive exhaust aftertreatment system includes an onboard ammonium carbamate reactor. The onboard ammonium carbamate reactor is coupled to a diesel emission fluid reservoir also included in the system and is configured to generate aqueous ammonium carbamate solution from diesel emission fluid. A hybrid heating system for use with the ammonium carbamate reactor is provided in this disclosure.
