Guides, instruments, devices, systems and methods for maintaining, correcting and/or resurfacing the multiple bones of a joint are disclosed. The guide system includes a cut guide and an alignment guide for engagement with the cut guide. The guide system also includes a cleaning system with a guide and a cutting instrument. Methods of using the guide system and cleaning system are also disclosed.

Guides, instruments, systems and methods of use

Implants, guides, devices, system and corresponding instruments for use in securing two bone segments together are disclosed. More specifically, a dynamic bone plate system is disclosed. The plate system includes a bone plate with at least one deformable member that is received within the bone plate. The bone plate construct also includes at least one coupling member for engaging the at least one deformable member to connect it to the bone plate system. The bone plate system also includes a plurality of bone fasteners for attaching the bone plate to the two bone segments. Methods for using the dynamic bone plate system to secure two bone segments together are also disclosed.

Alignment guide systems, fixation guide devices, and methods for positioning and inserting an intramedullary nail are disclosed. The alignment guide system includes a targeting guide with a first end and a second end, an alignment wire rotatably engaging a second end of the targeting guide, and a guide sleeve insert engaging an opening in the first end of the targeting guide. The fixation guide device including a frame including a first end and a second end, a compression device slidingly coupled to the first end of the frame, and the intramedullary nail secured to a nail attachment apparatus of the frame. Guides, systems, and methods for maintaining, correcting and/or fusing joint deformities are disclosed. The guide system including a cut guide, an alignment guide, and at least one directional wire. The cut guide including a base portion, an extension member extending away from a bottom surface of the base portion, and at least one arm extending away from an end of the base portion. The alignment guide, including a base portion, a first extension member extending away from a bottom surface of the base portion in a first direction, and a second extension member extending away from the bottom surface of the base portion in a second direction. Methods of using a guide system for maintaining, correcting and/or fusing joint deformities are also disclosed.

Alignment guides, cut guides, systems and methods of use and assembly

Soft tissue retention devices, instrumentation and related methods are disclosed. The devices include a first member comprising a first head portion and a first threaded shaft portion extending from the first head portion that define a cannulated opening extending therethrough, and a second member comprising a second head portion and a second threaded shaft portion extending from the second head portion that define a cannulated opening that extends therethrough. The inner sides of the first and second head portions includes a row of teeth extending about the periphery thereof. The first head portion also includes a plurality of through holes positioned between the first threaded shaft portion and the row of teeth. The outer sides of the first and second head portions include non-circular drive openings. The instrumentation comprise a handle portion with a through aperture that allows for a user's finger to extend therethrough during an implantation procedure.

Alignment instruments may include joint-line referencing systems having an alignment arm having a body with first and second portions defining first and second sides. The first portion has at least one first pin tube through-hole extending from the first to the second side. The second portion has a first opening on the first side. A pin tube guide member is receivable in the first through-hole. The pin tube guide member has a passageway therethrough. An angelwing alignment member includes a portion receivable in the first opening of the alignment arm. An alignment foot is secured to the second portion, and the alignment foot has a handle and a shim. The shim is positionable in a joint between a first bone and a second bone, the alignment arm is alignable relative to a first bone, and the pin tube guide is operable for securing a pin into the first bone.

An implant comprises a cap member comprising an internally threaded opening extending from a first end thereof, an anchor portion comprising a first end that defines a tip of the implant and external threads, and a coupling portion extending between the cap member and the anchor portion. The coupling portion of the implant includes an externally threaded portion threadably coupled within the internally threaded opening of the cap member. The cap member of the implant is longitudinally moveable along the coupling portion. Insertion instruments for inserting an implant for ligament fixation are also disclosed.
