A closing unit for an injection molding machine for processing plastic material includes a fixed mold mounting plate connected to a moveable mold mounting plate by means of a crank or toggle lever mechanism, which is operated by at least two motor-driven spindles arranged in series and having thread pitches in an opposite manner. One spindle is operatively connected to the fixed mounting plate, whereas the other spindle is connected to the crank or toggle lever mechanism. A sleeve-like force transmission element is arranged concentrically in relation to the spindles. Spindle nuts are respectively provided on opposite end faces of the force transmission element and interact with the power transmission element and the spindles.

Apparatus for grasping a load from above or from the side, in particular for use in a manipulator, includes two parallel elongate beams, and two carriers extending in a direction of the elongate beams, with each of the carriers supported by a corresponding one of the elongate beams and guided for displacement longitudinally in the direction of the elongate beams. The carriers are disposed in spaced-apart relationship, when viewed in a longitudinal direction of the carriers, and are movable relative to one another at least over a portion of a longitudinal extension of the carriers. Two confronting grippers are secured to the ends of the carriers and positioned on the outside of the carriers, when viewed in a direction transversely to the carriers and when the carriers are completely moved apart. A primary fluid-operated system is provided for moving the carriers in opposition to one another.

A brake for a hoist, includes a brake disk and a magnetic filed which is aligned transversely to the brake disk and generates a reactive force which inhibits a movement of the brake disk and is dependent on the rotation speed of the brake disk as well as a radial distance from the rotation axis. The magnetic field is formed by two magnetic poles arranged on both sides of the brake disk. A cost-efficient, compact and wear-resistant brake which operates in dependence on the rotation direction and is applicable in particular for a drive of a hoist, with the drive including a motor without generator-produced torque and/or with greatly load-dependent rotational speed, and a self-locking gear mechanism, can be implemented in such a manner that both magnetic poles are movable by the reactive force along a predetermined path from a rest position in opposition to a return force of an elastic member in rotation direction, wherein the radial distance is preset during movement along the path by a desired course of the rotation direction dependent and rotational speed dependent braking force and adjustable by the return force of the elastic member.

Brake, in particular for a drive of a hoist

A gripper, has a frame for movably guiding four radially movable gripper jaws in four shafts which extend radially outwards. An arbor is disposed centrally between longitudinal carriers of the frame in parallel relationship thereto, whereby the arbor, at least over a portion of its length, is conically tapered downwardly and can be shifted longitudinally by a piston-cylinder unit. The gripper jaws are spring biased radial against the arbor, whereby the contact surfaces of the gripper jaws are configured in conformity with the outer arbor surface. Each gripper jaw includes a plate-shaped central element and at least two parallel plate-shaped lateral elements which are laterally disposed to the central element and include a depression directed towards the outer side of the gripper jaw and having a cross-section, which, as viewed in the direction of the lateral surface of the lateral element, may have the shape of an isosceles triangle.

A device for storing compressed gas having a plurality of storage containers which each have a container wall which surrounds a cavity provided for storing the compressed air. The storage containers are connected to one another, and have at least one connection for introducing and/or discharging the compressed gas. In order to configure the storage containers so that they are as stable as possible, each of the storage containers has a covering layer which is arranged on the container wall at least in partial regions of the particular storage container. In order furthermore to enable the geometrical structure of the device to be adapted individually to the available spaces and to the quantity of gas to be stored, provision is made for each storage container to have a head piece which is connected to the container wall, and for the storage containers to be connected or able to be connected to one another in a modular manner via the respective head pieces. The compressed gas is conducted out of the storage containers via a flow duct which is provided in the head pieces and communicates with the cavity of the respective storage containers via a hole. The individual head pieces are connected via connecting elements which are introduced into corresponding openings in the head pieces.

The invention involves a tilting device for emptying containers (,) of mixed-item loads, especially of pieces of airline luggage, which is placed along the course of a conveyor line (,), and at least one branch conveyor is bordering on the conveyor line with tilting arms located one behind the other in the direction of transport. The tilting arms can be swiveled laterally for emptying the containers (,) in each case around an axle (,) running in the direction of transport and horizontal to the extent possible, and at least two tilting arms for passing the containers (,) along between the conveyor lines (,) can be connected in a detachable way with a container (,). In order to create a tilting device for emptying containers that has an optimized operational throughput, it is proposed that the tilting arms are each to be arranged on a chassis (,), the chassis (,) are to be connected through a driven traction mechanism (,) into an endlessly-circulating chain, and the containers (,) are to be capable of being coupled and decoupled for the acceptance of, and the discharge to, the conveyor line through holding devices (,) located on the tilting arms, as well as the containers (,) resting in the coupled state on the movable tilting arms.

Tipping device for emptying containers for piece goods

A device for the suspension of a rail, especially of a hollow-section rail which opens downward in a suspension crane, includes a carrying apparatus with a traction element which has two ends. One of the ends of the traction element may be fasten to the rail. To provide a rigid suspension of a rail in which horizontal forces, especially pulse-like horizontal forces, are extensively damped, the device includes a rubber-metal element connected between the carrying apparatus and the traction element with two substantially horizontal metal carriers arranged at a distance from one another. A rubber or elastic element is fastened to the inner surfaces of the metal carriers, which inner surfaces face one another. The carrying apparatus is fixedly connected with the lower metal carrier and the other end of the traction element is fixedly connected with the upper metal carrier.
