A modular oxygen supply system is provided comprising at least one module skeleton with a baseplate with frames arranged in parallel to one another. The system includes supply lines for ambient air with air connections for taking off the air, first gas lines for oxygen with first gas connections for taking up the oxygen and second gas lines for outgoing air with second gas connections for taking up outgoing air. Rack guides with data lines are provided. At least one individual module can be pushed into the module skeleton. Each individual module has at least one molecular sieve container fastened on a baseplate with the gas connections and with an electric contact. Each individual module has a gas treatment unit for the ambient air fed in. A pressure reducer and a multiple-way valve as well as an oxygen reservoir are arranged downstream of the molecular sieve container or containers connected in parallel. Each individual module is pushed into the module skeleton and is connected via the gas connections to a supply line for the ambient air, to a first gas line for oxygen and to a second gas line for the outgoing air. The electric contact of the individual module is connected to the data line of the module skeleton.

Modular oxygen supply system

A safety helmet combined with a visor ( ) in a detachable connection, which is formed by holding structure located on both sides at the safety helmet shell ( ). Wear properties are improved by the holding structure having rigid coupling hooks ( ), which are connected to the visor ( ), catch openings ( ) receiving the coupling hooks ( ), and hinges. A visor structure ( ) that can be pivoted over the visor ( ) is fastened to the hinges ( ); and the detachable connection is designed such that the visor structure ( ) is connected to the visor ( ) in one assembly unit with it when the visor ( ) is removed from the safety helmet ( ).

Safety helmet

The invention is directed to an emergency hood to be worn by a person in an environment where there is fire or contamination. The hood closes off the head of the person to the ambient and has an elastic, gas-impermeable ruff extending down to the neck and shoulder region of the wearer. The hood has an interior space for accommodating the head of the wearer and is made of a fire resistant gas-impermeable material and has a transparent visor in the region of the eyes or face of the person and the visor likewise is made of fire resistant, gas-impermeable material. An oxygen supply unit supplies oxygen to the hood for use by the person and a water and carbon dioxide absorbing flexible areal absorber unit is mounted in the interior space. The absorber unit has an ejector connected to the oxygen supply unit for discharging the oxygen into the interior space and for moving the respiratory air of the wearer out of the interior space and through the absorber unit whereby respiratory air again enters the interior space with water and carbon dioxide removed therefrom.
