A device with single MCU-based motion detection, local alarm and supervisory arrangement for alarm system controlled by an alarm control panel (ACP) is disclosed. The device includes a sensor component to monitor environment, an output component to generate warning messages, a power supply component to provide power, and a microcontroller to communicate with sensor component, drive output component and monitor the status of ACP. The device can detect when intruders break in and make alarm warnings even when the ACP is destroyed. Plurality of devices and said ACP form a local warning matrix network (LWMN) to increase the detection area and scary effect to intruders. Each device of LWMN works independently when the ACP is destroyed.

False alarm reduction method and system

A security device includes a plurality of security detectors intercommunicating with each other. Each of the security detectors includes a first device for verifying a single zone verification time of the respective security detector and a second device for verifying a multiple zone verification time with another security detector corresponding to a distance between two security detectors at two different detecting areas. When one of the security detectors detects at least two triggered signals in the respective detecting area within the single zone verification time, the respective security detector activates the local warning system to produce a local warning signal. When two security detectors are intercommunicated with each other to detect two triggered signals in the detecting areas respectively within the multiple zone verification time, at least one of the security detectors activates the local warning system to produce the local warning signal.

Security device with built-in intercommunicated false alarm reduction control

A portable wireless alarm system includes at least two alarm devices each of which includes a signal generator for generating an action signal, wherein the alarm devices are communicatively networked with each other by means of radio frequency to contribute a security network in such a manner that, within the security network, when one of the alarm devices is triggered to generate the action signal, another alarm device is automatically triggered by the action signal to produce alert signal, so as to enlarge a coverage area of the alarm device. In addition, the alarm device is a portable wireless alarm device that is communicated with an alarm activator by means of radio frequency signal to remotely control the alarm device to be activated. Therefore, the portable wireless alarm device is capable of wirelessly setting up at a designated location with free installation to ensure the best security.

Wireless alarm system for contributing security network

An auto-controller is adapted for incorporating with a battery charger to charge a battery by using a thermo-control and current balance technology for extending a service life span of the battery while being cost effective. The auto-controller includes a resistor having a predetermined resistance for electrically connecting to the battery charger wherein the resistor generates heat when a predetermined current flows through that defines a reference temperature for the battery charger, and a thermo sensor operatively positioned adjacent to the resistor for detecting the reference temperature and selectively switching the battery charger on and off, whereby when the reference temperature is above a control temperature preset in the thermo sensor, the battery charger is switched off to not function and when the reference temperature is below the control temperature, the battery charger is maintained in a switch-on condition to continuously charge a battery.

Auto-controller for battery charger using thermo-control and current balance technology

An auxiliary alert process and system thereof for alarm system are adapted for monitoring all the devices, so that a great amount of installation fee and equipment cost can thus be saved, wherein the auxiliary alert process which includes the following steps. (1) Maintain at least a sensor installed at an entrance or an exit of an existing alarm system in functioning condition when the alarm system is disarmed. (2) Monitoring the entrance/exit by the sensor to determine whether there is a motion occurred at the monitoring entrance/exit. (3) Send a detected signal to a security control device which is connected between a control panel and the sensor of the alarm system when the sensor detects the intruding motion occurred at the monitoring entrance/exit, and trigger at least a local warning device by the security control device to generate an alert signal. (4) Stop the alert signal when the intruding motion ceases or terminates. (5) Disable the security control device by switching the sensor to the control panel of the alarm system when the alarm system is armed, so that the sensor performs its alarm detecting function normally.

Auxiliary alert process and system thereof for alarm system

An action control process of a security alarm system is to render the general security alarm system to contain an auxiliary function of monitoring or detecting human activity within the monitoring area of the security alarm system, by utilizing the plurality of selected security devices selected from the security devices of the security alarm system during both armed or disarmed condition, without scarifying the original alarm protection functions. The action control process includes the steps of maintaining the plurality of selected security devices of the security alarm system in functioning condition when the security alarm system is set to a standby condition; computing a predetermined period of monitoring time; detecting any motion activity occurred inside at least a monitoring area by the selected security devices installed in the monitoring area during the predetermined period of monitoring time; resetting to compute the predetermined period of monitoring time initially again when a motion activity is detected by one of the selected security devices installed in the monitoring area within the predetermined period of monitoring time; detecting no motion activity in the monitoring area by any of the selected security devices after the predetermined period of monitoring time; and activating at least an alert device to perform an alert response.

Action control process of security alarm system

An additional logic algorithm is employed in the process for reducing motion-type false alarm of security alarm system automatically or manually, wherein the preset time period of the delaying period of the verification condition is reduced to a shorter first adjusted time period when a second alarm trigger is occurred after the first alarm trigger during the preset time period. If a third alarm trigger is occurred during the first adjusted time period, the delaying period is further reduced to a second adjusted time period shorter than the first adjusted time period. The delaying period will be further reduced when subsequent alarm trigger occurred. However, if there is no third alarm trigger occurred during the first adjusted time period, or there is no subsequent alarm trigger occurred after the last alarm trigger during the latest reduced adjusted time period, the delaying period will be reset to the preset time period.

Process for reducing motion-type false alarm of security alarm system

In order to enhance the process of reducing motion-type false alarm of security alarm system, a multiple time-setting adjustment control is employed in the process of reducing motion-type false alarm of security alarm system automatically or manually, wherein a cross zone delaying period during the verification condition for a second detecting signal from another motion sensor is set to have a longer time period than a single zone delaying period during the verification condition for a second detecting signal from the same motion sensor, so as to further effectively reduce the motion-type false alarm possibility without reducing the protection performance of the security alarm system.

Process of reducing motion-type false alarm of security alarm system

A backup arrangement for alarm system includes an electronic switch circuit, a DC power source, a build-in electronic Hi-sounder, and a chargeable resistor. The electronic switch circuit, which is a IC control system, has a power input connected to an auxiliary power output of a control panel of a burglary alarm system installed in house or vehicle, and an alarm input connected to an alarm output of the control panel. The electronic switch circuit further includes a normally opened switch and a normally closed switch. The normally closed switch is coupled in series with the alarm output of the control panel and the input of the build-in electronic Hi-sounder. The DC power source has an output connected in series with the normally opened switch and the input of the build-in electronic Hi-sounder. An alert output is connected to a system warning device of the burglary alarm system. Accordingly, when the control panel and wiring are vandalized that the auxiliary power output losses its voltage or power or that the system warning device is shock off or damaged, then the normally closed switch is switched to an open condition and the normally opened switch is switched to a close condition. At that time, the DC power source will energize the builder-in electronic Hi-sounder to provide Hi-pitch warning alarm.

Backup arrangement for alarm system

A process for reducing motion-type false alarm of security alarm system includes the steps of merely activating the local warning system to produce local audio and/or video warning signals when any one of the motion sensors detects a motion everytime within the respective motion detecting area; delaying to activate the control panel as well as the phone dialing system which is built in the control panel for a predetermined period of time, wherein the security alarm system is in a verification condition; activating the control panel to normally respond by activating the local warning system and the built-in phone dialing system to transmit digital signals to a central station for dispatching to a designated police resource when at least one more detecting signal is sent from any one of the pre-designated motion sensors that detects another motion within the respective motion detecting area during within the predetermined period of time; and resetting the security alarm system to the original standby condition when there is no other detecting signal sent from any motion sensor within the predetermined period of time.
