A raceway system routes power and communication cabling in separate channels but terminates the power and communication cabling in a common center channel. The raceway system includes a base, outer walls and inner walls, one of the outer walls and one of the inner walls define a first outer channel, adjacent inner walls define a center channel and one of the outer walls and one of the inner walls define a second outer channel. The raceway system also includes a plurality of covers connected to the inner and outer walls to cover the channels.

Three channel raceway

The present invention is directed towards a metal raceway system. The metal raceway system includes a metal raceway and a coupling fitting. The metal raceway snaps onto the coupling fitting to mount the metal raceway to the fitting. The metal raceway has a channel defined by a top wall, side walls and a bottom wall. The side walls include curved protrusions that extend below the channel. The coupling fitting has a base with at least one retention flange having a curved profile that engages the metal raceway.

Metal raceway system

The present invention is directed to a raceway system including a base, at least two covers and a faceplate. The base includes sidewalls having a top wall with a flange member. The covers include a top portion having two ends with a flange member at each end. The flange members of the covers are in mating engagement with the flange members of the base when the cover is coupled to the base. The cover is flush with the base when it is coupled to the base. The faceplate is installed on the raceway so that it overlaps a portion of each cover and extends over and is flush with a portion of the top walls of the base.

A hinged duct system having a base and a cover hingedly attached to the base. The base has a bottom wall, a first sidewall and a second sidewall that define a channel therebetween. The cover has a top wall, a first end portion and a second end portion. The cover is attached to one of the sidewalls of the base by a hinge mechanism. The hinge mechanism has a hook member located at a distal end of one of the sidewalls of the base and a hook member located at one of the end portions of the cover. A flexible member is disposed along the hinge mechanism to preventing the cover from sliding with respect to the base when the cover rotates about the base.

Hinged and latched raceway

A duct fitting for joining a plurality of separate duct sections is provided. The fitting cover includes flanges formed on the sidewalls for engaging with a corresponding recess in the duct section to provide engagement, and further includes an independent latch for securing the cover to the base fitting. The T-shaped fitting is also provided with a divider insert which allows for proper routing of wires into the selected channels while maintaining the proper bend radii for the wires or cables.

Wiring duct fittings

A modular raceway outlet station for use with a trunking duct which has a divider wall and a top access opening, includes an offset power box having a projection extending lateral from a top wall of the box having a top portion and an abutment portion which depends from the furthest extent of the top portion and is adapted to be substantially aligned with an edge of the top access opening, wherein the abutment portion does not project into the top access opening; and an opening formed in the abutment portion of the projection which communicates with an aperture formed in a side wall of the box adjacent the duct. The outlet station further includes, an extension which is adapted to extend over the top access opening having an abutment surface which aligns flush against the abutment portion of the projection; a routing notch formed in the abutment surface corresponding in longitudinal extent to the opening formed in the abutment portion of the projection; and a guide wall depending from the extension, interiorly adjacent the routing notch, having a longitudinal extent greater than the routing notch, and adapted to be substantially vertically aligned with the divider wall. Wherein, the power conductors may be routed out of and over the duct, and into the offset power box before installation of the extension and the power conductors remain completely isolated from the communication conductors after the extension is installed.

Raceway outlet station

A wire raceway fitting enclosure assembly including a base which has at least one side projection, and a cover which has at least one side rib depending from the top wall to retain a portion of the side projection in an interference fitting manner.
