A system according to invention principles advantageously automatically displays a parameter value within the closest Flowsheet parameter acquisition time interval column. A user interface system provides patient medical parameter data for trend indicative display covering a time period comprising user selectable acquisition time intervals. The system includes an acquisition processor for acquiring, from a patient monitoring device, data representing a patient parameter comprising a plurality of data values at a corresponding plurality of different times within multiple user selectable patient parameter acquisition intervals of a time period. The data processor determines for a particular user selectable acquisition time interval a patient parameter data value closest in time to a center time point of the particular user selected acquisition time interval and excludes other patient parameter data values acquired within the particular user selectable acquisition time interval. A generator generates data representing an image showing a trend indicative display of the patient parameter including the determined patient parameter data value associated with the particular user selectable acquisition time interval and omits the excluded data values.

A system advantageously populates Flowsheet data fields with predetermined exemplary patient parameter data in response to user selection of a designated displayed trigger parameter and enables user preview of Flowsheet format including the exemplary data resulting from tentative configuration settings without exiting a configuration window. A system provides an electronic patient parameter Flowsheet offering the flexible features of a paper chart by enabling user configurability of a Flowsheet trend indicative display to incorporate and locate desired patient parameters and associated data items and properties and to hide non-critical supplementary data. System and user interface for configuring and presenting a trend indicative display of patient medical parameters

A system extrapolates and interpolates patient fluid intake or output parameter values and associated cumulative values over variable time intervals from a reduced set of stored fluid parameter values affecting fluid cumulative volume computation or rate of fluid intake or output computation. The extrapolation and interpolation function accomodates drip (continuing) fluid volumes as well as supplemental (non-continuing e.g., bolus) fluid volumes. A patient medical parameter data processing system provides patient medical parameter data for trend indicative display covering a time period comprising user selectable patient parameter acquisition time intervals. The system includes an acquisition processor for receiving data identifying, for a continuing infusion, rate of volume of fluid infusion into a patient, a fluid type identifier and a start time and start date of said continuing infusion. The received data also identifies for a non-continuing infusion, a total volume of fluid infusion, a fluid type identifier and a time and date of the non-continuing infusion. A data processor determines, from the received data, a cumulative total volume infusion of a particular fluid into a particular patient for a particular user selectable patient parameter acquisition time interval.

Patient medical fluid parameter data processing system

A network compatible user interface system and method are presented for supporting navigation through patient medical information. The system comprises a communication processor for acquiring a patient group identifier allocated to a grouping of patients and for acquiring medical information associated with the patients. A display generator operates to generate a composite display window incorporating a first window including the patient group identifier and a list of patients in the grouping and a second window for displaying different medical information corresponding to different medical applications. The different medical information is associated with patients within the patient grouping. A display navigation processor maintains the first window display while displaying different medical information in the second window in response to user navigation between the different applications.

System and method for navigating patient medical information

A network compatible, configurable user interface system for displaying a set of user-selectable, sequentially generated patient medical parameters, together with an associated time indication comprises a display menu generator for generating a customization menu that enables user selection of a default set of medical parameters from a plurality of available sets of default medical parameters. The customization menu further enables user modification of the default set of medical parameters. A display generator responsive to a user command operates to display the modified default set of medical parameters in a graphical or tabular format.
