Aspects relate to mechanisms for mutual information (MI)-based physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidate pruning. A UE may receive a plurality of PDCCH candidates in a search space. Each of the PDCCH candidates includes a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) generated with the same scrambling seed and control information generated with one or more respective UE-specific non-transparent precoding parameters. The UE can prune the PDCCH candidates to identify at least one PDCCH candidate for decoding by generating the log-likelihood ratio (LLR) magnitudes of demodulated PDCCH candidates and calculating the mutual information based on the LLR magnitudes.

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine a set of recommended base station transmit beams for full duplex operation based at least in part on measurements of a set of base station transmit beams and measurements of self-interference associated with the set of base station transmit beams. The UE may transmit a report that indicates a recommendation to use one or more of the set of recommended base station transmit beams for full duplex operation. Numerous other aspects are described.

A method of wireless communication includes transmitting, by a wireless communication device, a first Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) transmission during a first slot. The method further includes transmitting, by the wireless communication device, at least a second SSB transmission during the first slot, the second and all other optional SSB transmissions on the first slot carry the same data as the first SSB transmission. The SSB transmissions are transmitted using spatially separated beams. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

The UE may obtain a respective beam quality metric for each transmit beam of a plurality of transmit beams associated with the RAN entity and transmit a beam report to the RAN entity including a respective beam quality metric for each of the transmit beams. The RAN entity may then group the plurality of transmit beams into a plurality of beam groups based on the beam report and transmit a plurality of TCI state groups, each corresponding to a respective one of the beam groups, to the UE.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit control signaling including a beam shaping configuration to a channel engineering device. The channel engineering device may apply the beam shaping configuration during a time period in which the base station is communicating with a user equipment (UE). The beam shaping configuration may include one or more parameters that modify one or more deflection settings at the channel engineering device to adjust an electronic metamaterial of the channel engineering device to focus received signal energy, reflect received signal energy, refract received signal energy, filter received signal energy, or any combination thereof. Aspects presented herein may enable a UE to provide HARQ feedback for multiple groups of CBs based on their associated CBG and TBG. In one aspect, a UE receives an RRC configuration for a HARQ transmission, the RRC configuration including a CBG configuration and a TBG configuration. The UE determines, based on the CBG configuration, a number of CBs for each of a plurality of CBGs for HARQ feedback. The UE determines, based on the TBG configuration, a number of TBs for each of a plurality of TBGs for the HARQ feedback. The UE transmits, to a base station, the HARQ feedback, where the HARQ feedback is based on the number of CBs for each of the plurality of CBGs and the number of TBs for each of the plurality of TBGs.

Aspects of the disclosure relate to reporting and correcting a spatial misalignment of an orbital angular momentum (OAM) waveform communicated from a second device to a first device. In an aspect, the first device receives from the second device, the OAM waveform having a spatial misalignment with respect to the second device. The first device determines the spatial misalignment and further determines spatial coordinates for correcting the spatial misalignment and/or one or more channel measurements of the OAM waveform. Thereafter, the first device sends a report based on the spatial misalignment to the second device, the report including the spatial coordinates for correcting the spatial misalignment and/or the one or more channel measurements. The first device then receives an adjusted OAM waveform from the second device, wherein the adjusted OAM waveform is received having a corrected spatial alignment with respect to the second device based on the report.

A MSIM UE may perform network operations for each network subscription. However, if the MSIM UE employs subscriptions for the same network, these operations may be performed redundantly. By notifying the network of multiple subscriptions at the UE and associating the multiple subscriptions at the network, the present invention provides power-saving at the UE and reduces network signaling overhead by optimizing communication for MSIM UE. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be configured to indicate to a network that the UE is associated with a plurality of network subscriptions, the plurality of network subscriptions including at least a first network subscription and a second network subscription, transmit location information using the first network subscription to the network, wherein the location information corresponds to a UE location, and receive data associated with the second subscription from the network.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a network coding configuration for a set of transmit beams, each transmit beam in the set of transmit beams being spatial division multiplexed with respect to the other transmit beams of the set. The UE may identify based at least in part on the control signaling, a first set of one or more transmit beams of the set of transmit beams carrying parity information for a second set of one or more transmit beams in the set of transmit beams. The UE may perform beamformed communications over the set of transmit beams in accordance with the network coding configuration and the parity information.

A device generates an estimated size of encoded versions of one or more pictures of video data prior to generating the encoded versions of the one or more pictures. A physical layer of a radio system of the device is configured to send a message to a wireless base station. The message indicates a size value based on the estimated size of the encoded versions of the one or more pictures. The physical layer of the radio system receives an uplink grant notification in response to the message. Based on the uplink grant notification, the physical layer of the radio system sends packets to the wireless base station containing the encoded versions of the one or more pictures.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A receiving device may receive a signal over a first frequency from a transmitting device. The receiving device may determine a set of angular offsets associated with communicating signals over a set of frequencies based on the angle of arrival of the signal, where each frequency of the set of frequency may be offset from the first frequency by a different amount. The receiving device may indicate the set of angular offsets to the transmitting device. The transmitting device may adapt a reception configuration for receiving signals from the receiving device, transmitting signal to the receiving device, or both based on the indication of the set of angular offsets.

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An access device in a network of access devices may determine that a wireless device is in a coverage area of one of the access devices based on a coverage pattern of the access devices and a sensor coupled with the access device. The access device may estimate a trajectory of the wireless device based on information obtained by the sensor. After estimating the trajectory of the wireless device, the access device may transmit an indication to one or more of the other access devices to enter (or remain in) an active state based on the trajectory of the wireless device and the coverage pattern. The indication may also include a set of beams for the other access device to activate.
