A connector assembly includes a connector, a circuit board, a housing. The connector may include a first portion, a second portion, and/or a third portion. The circuit board may include a first circuit board portion and/or a second circuit board portion. The connector may be configured to connect the first circuit board portion and/or the second circuit board portion to the housing. The first portion may be connected to the housing; the second portion may be connected to the first portion of the circuit board, and/or the third portion may be connected to the second portion of the circuit board. The first portion may include a first engagement portion, the second portion may include a second engagement portion, and/or the third portion may include a third engagement portion. The first engagement portion, the second engagement portion, and/or the third engagement portion may be disposed substantially perpendicular to each other.

Connector assembly and method

The present disclosure includes a circuit board assembly that may include a circuit board that may include a first side and a second side opposite from the first side. The circuit board assembly may include a female terminal inserted in the first side of the circuit board and an electrical component that may be disposed at the second side. The first electrical component may include a first male terminal extending through the circuit board into the first female terminal. A female electrical terminal may include an outer wall defining an internal space and a pair of prongs extending from the outer wall and at least partially within the internal space. The pair of prongs may be disposed at a vertical distance from the top of the outer wall.

An unit housing includes a first housing member, a second housing member, a circuit board disposed at least partially between the first housing member and the second housing member, a positioning column disposed at least partially in the circuit board, a first resilient member connected to the positioning column between the circuit board and the first housing member, and a second resilient member connected to the positioning column between the circuit board and the second housing member.
