The data center monitoring and management operation includes: receiving data center data; identifying unprotected sensitive data center data contained within the data center data; classifying the sensitive data center data contained within the data center data according to a sensitivity based classification; and, remediating the sensitive data center asset data according to the sensitivity based classification of the sensitive data center data.
