A centrifugal blower includes a blower base, multiple blades fastened to the blower base, a hub integrated to a central portion of the blower base, and a top shroud to provide surrounding coverage to the multiple blades. The centrifugal blower is housed within an evaporator. The centrifugal blower may operate at operating speeds that are lower than those of typical or currently known implementations while generating an airflow that meets or even exceeds those of the typical or currently known implementations.

High efficiency centrifugal blower

A condenser fan includes a lock hub and multiple blades that are fastened to the hub. Each of the blades includes six planes, each of which having variable parameters including pitch angle, sickle, chord length, and blade curve. For each embodiment of the evaporator fan, the blades are identically configured.

In one aspect, a rotor blade assembly for a wind turbine may generally include a rotor blade extending lengthwise between a root and a tip. The rotor blade may include a pressure side and a suction side extending between a leading edge and a trailing edge. Additionally, the rotor blade assembly may include a chord extender having an attachment portion coupled to at least of the pressure side or the suction side and an extension portion extending outwardly from the attachment portion beyond the trailing edge. The extension portion may extend chordwise between a first end disposed adjacent to the trailing edge and a second end disposed opposite the first end. The extension portion may include a surface defined between the first and second ends. The extension portion may further include at least one stiffening rib projecting outwardly from the surface.

Chord extenders for a wind turbine rotor blade assembly

A winglet for a rotor blade is disclosed. The winglet may generally include a winglet body extending between a first end and a second end. The winglet body may define a sweep and may have a curvature defined by a curve fit including a first radius of curvature and a second radius of curvature. The sweep between the first end and the second end may range from about 580 millimeters to about 970 millimeters. Additionally, the first radius of curvature may range from about 1500 millimeters to about 2500 millimeters and the second radius of curvature may range from about 1200 millimeters to about 2000 millimeters.

Winglet for a wind turbine rotor blade

A rotor blade for a wind turbine is disclosed. The rotor blade may comprise a root portion, a tip, and a body extending between the root portion and the tip. The body may include a pressure side and a suction side. Additionally, a winglet may be defined by the body. The winglet may terminate at the tip of the rotor blade and extend inwardly in a direction of the suction side of the body. Further, a bend may be defined in the body such that a portion of the body extends outwardly in a direction of the pressure side of the body.
