The present invention disclose an improved carboxylate-alumoxanes nano sheets nucleating agent of formula (I), for advanced nucleation of thermoplastic semi-crystalline polymer, at low concentration; [Formula should be inserted here] where 2x+y+z=3 wherein; G represents a Phenyl ring or Naphthyl ring or fused aromatic rings R is independently selected from the group consisting of H,(C-C)alkyl, (C-C)alkoxy, aryloxy, hydroxy, halogen, aryl, arylalkyl and carbocyclic ring with adjacent carbon atoms of the parent phenyl ring; E is either oxygen or a bond; F is either CHor a bond; n=2&#x2212;50. 

Carboxylate-alumoxanes nucleating agents and a process for the preparation thereof

The present invention provides nucleated polyolefins using shellac based nucleating agents wherein the nucleated polyolefins obtained have improved crystallization temperature (Tc) and smaller spherulitic size and hence improved transparency characteristics.
