One example of a system includes a server, a plurality of power supplies, and a system controller. The plurality of power supplies are electrically coupled to the server and each power supply includes machine readable instructions. The system controller updates the machine readable instructions of each of the plurality of power supplies one at a time while maintaining power to the system controller from at least one of the plurality of power supplies.

Serial bootloading of power supplies

Example implementations relate to sequential resets of redundant subsystems. For example, in an implementation, a controller may receive a maintenance activity instruction and may perform the maintenance activity on the redundant subsystems. After performance of the redundant subsystems, the controller may sequentially reset each of the redundant subsystems. The controller may wait a random delay between sequential resets of the redundant subsystems.

In various examples, a system comprises a first plurality of power supplies comprising a first plurality of external electrical connectors, and a second plurality of power supplies comprising a second plurality of external electrical connectors. The first plurality of power supplies may be symmetric with the second plurality of power supply about an axis of symmetry. The system further comprises a common fan module. The common fan module comprises a fan to cool the first plurality of power supplies and the second plurality of power supplies, a power inlet, a third plurality of electrical connectors, a fourth plurality of electrical connectors. The third plurality of electrical connectors are capable of being electrically coupled to the first plurality of electrical connectors, and the fourth plurality of electrical connectors are capable of being electrically coupled to the second plurality of electrical connectors.
