A sensor system for monitoring vapor concentrations associated with an agricultural implement is disclosed. The sensor system comprises a first sensor coupled to a support structure that is configured to sense a concentration of at least one component of a vapor sample associated with dispensed ammonia that is emitted from the soil. A controller is communicatively coupled to the first sensor, and is configured to receive and process output signals generated by the first sensor to determine an amount of the concentration of the at least one component that is loss during emission.

System and method for monitioring vapor concentrations

An agricultural machine has a communication component configured to receive a first data set and a second data set. The first and second data sets comprise indications of a soil parameter of a worksite. The first data set is captured at an earlier time than the second data set. The agricultural machine also has a controller configured to receive the first and second data sets and, based on the first and second data sets, generate a map of the worksite. The agricultural machine also has a controllable subsystem configured to receive a control signal from the controller. The control signal is generated based on both a position of the agricultural machine within the worksite and the generated map. The control signal is configured to control operator of the controllable subsystem.

Controlling ground engaging elements based on images

An unmanned image capture system captures images of a field or work area using a first, spectral image capture system and a second video image capture system. Crop location data that is indicative of the location of crop plants within the field, is obtained. Evaluation zones in the image data generated by the first image capture system are identified based on the crop location data. Crop plants within the evaluation zones are then identified, analyzed to generate a corresponding emergence metric, and linked to a corresponding video image generated by the second image capture system.

A mobile machine includes controllable mechanism that performs a prescribed operation on a worksite as the mobile machine travels over the worksite in a direction of travel, and a communication system that receives attribute data indicative of an attribute corresponding to the worksite, and that receives effect data indicative of an effect of the prescribed operation being performed on the worksite. The mobile machine may further include a control system that generates a difference map indicative of a difference between the attribute data and the effect data, and that controls the controllable mechanism to adjust performance of the prescribed operation on the worksite, based on the difference.

UAV-based sensing for worksite operations

A sensor senses an attribute of a worksite at a location that is geographically spaced from a corresponding mobile machine. An operation is performed at the location, based upon the sensed attribute. An action signal is generated based on the effect data. An unmanned aerial vehicle communicates effect data, indicative of an effect of the operation at the location, to the mobile machine. The action signal can be used to control worksite operations.
