Disclosed are various examples for categorization using an organizational hierarchy. In some examples, a client device receives an enterprise map comprising a plurality of user identifiers, each being associated with a hierarchy level of an enterprise hierarchy. Enterprise content is received. The enterprise content includes data associated with a user identifier from the enterprise map. The enterprise content is associated with a category based on a hierarchy level of the user identifier. A user interface is generated to include the enterprise content and a visual design element based on the category.

Categorization using organizational hierarchy

Examples described herein include systems for generating a predictive action button within a graphical user interface. The system can launch an action generator that tracks a user's behavior, either directly or through the use of an action profile. User behavior can be tracked in individual applications or across multiple applications and devices. Action modules can implement application events and procedures to track particular events and behavior information for that application. A module engine can analyze correlations between the events and behaviors. Based on this analysis, the predictive action button can be displayed for carrying out the predicted action when the corresponding application event occurs.

Generating predictive action buttons within a graphical user interface

Disclosed are various examples for categorization using an organizational hierarchy. In one example, a management service obtains user identifiers for users associated with an enterprise. The management service sends a request for subordinate data for each user to a directory service. The management service generates a hierarchy that links the users based on the subordinate data. The management service generates a map using the hierarchy. The map includes a user identifier and a level for each user. The management service sends the map to a client device.
