An electrical connector includes a front wire terminal and a rear wire terminal. The front wire terminal and the rear wire terminal are configured to couple to a conductor of a cable. A front signal trace is coupled to the front wire terminal. A rear signal trace is coupled to the rear wire terminal. The front signal trace is positioned adjacent to the rear signal trace. A front mating contact is coupled to the front signal trace. A rear mating contact is coupled to the rear signal trace. The front signal trace conveys an electrical signal between the front wire terminal and the front mating contact. The rear signal trace conveys an electrical signal between the rear wire terminal and the rear mating contact. An electro-mechanical compensation is positioned between the front signal trace and the rear signal trace to control crosstalk between the front signal trace and the rear signal trace.

An electrical connector is provided. The connector includes a housing having a wire end and a mating end. A terminal array extends between the wire end and the mating end of the housing. The terminal array has second terminals and first terminals. Each of the second terminals and the first terminals has a wire contact positioned at the wire end of the housing and a mating contact positioned at the mating end of the housing. The wire contact of each second terminal is positioned closer to the wire end of the housing than the wire contact of each first terminal. The mating contacts of the second terminals are positioned adjacent the mating contacts of the first terminals.

A cable includes twisted pairs of insulated conductors. Each twisted pair includes two insulated conductors twisted together in a helical manner. The twisted pairs are grouped together to define a central core of the cable. An inner filler element is wrapped helically around the twisted pairs of the central core. An outer filler element is wrapped helically around the twisted pairs of the central core. The outer filler element is wrapped over the inner filler element.

An electrical connector is provided. The connector includes a substrate having a wire end and a mating end. The substrate has signal traces extending between the wire end and the mating end. Wire terminals are joined to the wire end of the substrate. Each of the wire terminals is electrically coupled to a signal trace. Each of the wire terminals is configured to couple to a conductor of a cable. Mating contacts are joined to the mating end of the substrate. Each of the mating contacts is electrically coupled to a signal trace so that the signal trace directs electrical signals between a wire terminal and the mating contact. The mating contacts are configured to engage a contact of a corresponding connector.

A terminal block for electrically coupling conductors and terminal contacts. The terminal block includes a terminal base portion that has a mounting side configured to be mounted to a surface of an electrical component. The base portion has contact slots that extend from the mounting side therethrough. The contact slots are configured to receive terminal contacts that are electrically coupled to the electrical component. The terminal block also includes an organizer portion that extends from the base portion and includes channels that extend substantially parallel to the surface of the electrical component. The channels are configured to receive corresponding conductors. The contact slots of the base portion align with corresponding channels of the organizer portion so that the terminal contacts electrically couple the conductors.

An electrical component support assembly that includes an electrical component and a bracket removably attached to the electrical component. The bracket is configured to couple to the electrical component and includes a base member that has a first side with a substantially planar shape. The bracket also includes a pair of elbow members that are located proximate to a second side of the base member. The elbow members are configured to be mounted to a support frame. Each of the elbow members is shaped to include a spring portion and a tab joined thereto. The spring portions flex with respect to the base member. The tabs on the pair of elbow members are arranged adjacent to one another and oriented to extend in a substantially common direction to be received in a common hole in the support frame. The tabs extend outward from the spring portions and have recesses for gripping the support frame.

Electrical component support assembly

A power distribution system includes a plurality of circuits each configured to supply power, wherein the power distribution system includes a plurality of power modules. A first power control device is connected to each of the circuits and is configured to supply power to a first sub-set of the power modules from a first of the circuits. A second power control device is connected to each of the circuits and is configured to supply power to a second sub-set of the power modules that is different than the first sub-set of power modules. The second power control device is configured to supply power from a second of the circuits.

Control device for a power distribution system

A low-profile cable is provided and includes a body having upper and lower portions that extend a length of the body and also having opposite sidewalls joining the upper and lower portions to one another. The cable also includes passages that are located between the sidewalls. The passages extend the length of the body and are configured to receive at least one twisted pair of conductors. Also, the cable includes a load-bearing structural section that spans between the upper and lower portions. The structural section includes opposing wall supports separated by a pocket channel therebetween. The structural section is configured to support the upper and lower portions and substantially resist deformation of the passages when external forces are induced onto at least one of the upper and lower portions.

A connector includes a housing having a mating end, a wire receiving end and a longitudinal axis therethrough. The housing holds a plurality of contacts grouped in pairs and arranged about the axis. At least one shielding member is located within the housing. The at least one shielding member isolates each contact pair from an adjacent contact pair. An organizer is configured for attachment to the wire receiving end of the housing. The organizer defines a central opening that receives a plurality of signal wires. The organizer includes a plurality of wire guides arranged about the central opening. Each wire guide receives one of the signal wires.

Electrical connector with enhanced jack interface

The present disclosure relates to modular plugs including a housing for holding a plurality of terminals that are engageable with contacts of a mating plug receptacle. The modular plug further includes a slider latch having a distal end portion integrally formed with the housing, a proximal end portion configured and adapted for operative engagement with the housing, and an intermediate portion disposed between the distal end portion and the proximal end portion. The intermediate portion defines at least one flex point. Accordingly, when the proximal end portion of the slider latch is operatively connected to the housing, the intermediate portion of the slider latch defines an anti-snag feature. The slider latch facilitates locking and unlocking of the modular plug with a plug receptacle when in a densely packed array.

A connector includes a housing having a mating end, a wire receiving end, and a longitudinal axis therethrough. The housing holds a plurality of contacts grouped in differential pairs and arranged about the axis. At least one shielding member is located within the housing. The shielding member isolates each differential contact pair from an adjacent differential contact pair. An organizer is configured for attachment to the wire receiving end of the housing. The organizer defines a central opening that receives a plurality of signal wires carrying differential signals. The organizer includes a plurality of wire guides arranged about and extending radially outward from the central opening. The wire guides receive the signal wires.
