A motor vehicle disc brake lining having friction material fixed on the front side of a back plate, and a resetting spring fixed releasably or non-releasably on the rear side of the back plate with a base and an elastic resetting spring bow. The resetting spring bow sits elastically on an assigned abutment of a holder such that the motor vehicle disc brake lining can be reset to be axially distanced from a brake disc in the released brake state. The friction lining resetting spring has a spring characteristic curve which is additively composed of a plurality of portions including a plurality of quasi-linear straight portions and, interposed in-between, at least one curved transition portion, each having mutually differently defined gradient angles, and among the portions there is at least one portion which is at least partially plastically deformable and serves to automatically allow demand-oriented spring-back based on wear compensation.

Motor vehicle disc brake lining with friction lining resetting spring

A friction lining assembly having a backing plate and a sheet metal restoring spring fixed thereto, for a partially lined sliding-caliper type disk brake having a brake holder fixed with respect to the vehicle, on which friction lining assemblies arranged on both sides of a brake disk are slidably guided. A housing, which extends over the brake disk and the friction lining assemblies, is slidably mounted on the brake holder. The restoring spring is clamped axially between the brake holder and the friction lining assembly by at least one spring leg and applies a release clearance to the friction lining assembly. The spring leg extends over a hammer-head-shaped claw of the backing plate. The spring leg is plastically deformable in a defined manner under braking actuation as a result of a reduction in the friction-material thickness in order to impose a constantly dimensioned release clearance on the friction lining assembly.

Friction lining assembly having a restoring spring for limiting clearance for a motor-vehicle partially lined disk brake

A partially lined motor-vehicle disk brake of the first caliper type, with a housing including an actuator system as a normal force generator mounted in a slidably guided fashion on a holder, with at least one friction lining which is configured in a hammerhead shape with claws and which is accommodated in a guided fashion with pull-support in holder arms with receptacle recesses in the holder. In order to avoid reversing clicks, the holder is embodied as a closed frame in that holder webs connect the holder arms to one another, and the holder webs are positioned tangentially in front of the housing limbs of the housing. Accordingly, the force flux in the holder is closed, and in the case of pull suspension all the holder arms are nevertheless included in the force flux.

Partially lined motor-vehicle disk brake with friction linings which are provided with pull-support in a frame-shaped holder

A brake caliper of a disk brake, includes a housing having a bore hole, in which an axially displaceable piston is arranged, and a shaft for actuation, which is supported so that it is rotatable and axially displaceable in the housing, and an adjusting device having a spindle to compensate for brake lining wear, an axial bearing being provided between the spindle and the shaft. For an improved wear resistance, it is proposed according to the invention that the axial bearing be integrally formed from a homogeneous material matrix.

Brake caliper of a disk brake

A spot-type disc brake with a housing comprising a housing bridge, with at least one housing leg having an actuating assembly comprising an actuator unit and a component movable along an axis of movement. At least one brake shoe is arranged at the component and is slidably supported on at least one support. The brake shoe is braced with the support against an abutment surface by means of a hold-down spring. The abutment surface of the hold-down spring is arranged non-parallel to the axis of movement. Thereby, not only a radial preloading force Fis produced, but also a force component Fnormal thereto, which assists the retracting movement of the brake shoe from the brake disc, thus improving the clearance behavior.

Partially lined disk brake

A disc brake with a rotatable and axially displaceable shaft for actuation, and with an actuating element. Further, a sealing means with a sealing portion is provided, which acts elastically on an associated sealing surface, with the sealing portion closing a slot between the sealing surface and the housing for sealing purposes and abutting on a stop. The stop, the sealing surface and the actuating element are designed integrally. This measure allows significantly reducing the production costs because the complexity of components is decreased and the assembly is thus simplified.

Disk brake

A brake caliper of a disc brake includes a housing with a bore, in which a piston is arranged in an axially displaceable fashion, a shaft for actuation, which is mounted in a rotatable and axially displaceable fashion, two ramp elements being rotatable in relation to each other, a readjusting device with a spindle, and an axial bearing that is active between the shaft and the spindle. A generic brake caliper of a disc brake includes components having a construction to withstand stress so that they are exposed to even, low stress without detrimental tension peaks. A toothing is provided on a circumference of the spindle, and a form-fit accommodation means for the toothing is provided. The accommodation means are unrotatably connected to the housing and secure the spindle against twisting. A calotte arrangement is also provided as an axial bearing, which comprises a calotte shell with a concavely curved surface and a calotte pivot with a convexly curved surface.
