A flow tube () has a housing () including at least a first housing half () and a second housing half (). Outside of the mounting gap () the connection surfaces () butt against each other in some sections by respective abutting surface portions (), and outside of the mounting gap () and outside of the abutting surface portions () the housing halves () are integrally combined with each other. A method is provided for producing the flow tube, namely for integrally joining the housing halves ().

Two detector arrays () with two detector elements () are configured suitably for detecting the light emission generated by the radiation source () in two detector arrays (). A device () for determining the concentration of a gas component is configured with a radiation source () for emitting () a light radiation or heat radiation in an infrared wavelength range. A detector array () has at least two detector elements (), configured to detect the radiation generated by the radiation source (), in an angular arrangement () and with filter elements (). At least one of the two detector elements () is oriented in an angular arrangement () in relation to a vertical axis (), so that a range of overlap () is obtained due to the angular arrangements (). The range of overlap () causes attenuations in the propagation of light, which attenuations may be due, for example, to gas molecules or moisture (), affect both detector elements () and are thus compensated concerning the concentration determination.
