A mineral ionizing device ( ) consisting of a container ( ) filled with water and containing a solid-mineral, cylindrical first electrode ( ), a second electrode ( ) coaxially located within the first electrode ( ), a vibration unit ( ) which produces a vibration within the container ( ), a set of protrusions ( ) located on the surface of the second electrode ( ) and a periodic current reversing unit ( ) which applies a d-c current across the first and second electrodes ( ). The combination of the vibration unit ( ), the protrusions ( ) and the current reversing unit ( ) aids in releasing gaseous bubbles which form on the surface of the second electrode ( ). The application of the d-c current causes the mineral in the first electrode ( ) to release mineral ions into the water which results in the production of very clean mineral water.

Mineral ionizing device

A control system in combination with a horizontal continuous caster includes a casting system drive motor having a control loop operative thereon which also includes a start of stroke board. A cam selection system provides for application of individual cam profiles to the control loop of the motor. A display system provides display of the individual applied cam profiles and actual casting motion. Additional monitoring systems provide direct control of multiple system functions during the casting process. The control system based on velocity versus time is simplified in construction and provides rapid and precise control.

Motion control system for horizontal continuous caster

A DC brush motor amplifier control includes a current switch power supply together with switching logic for operating the motor in response to a predetermined motor current signal. An encoder coupled to the DC brush motor provides a feedback signal used to control the motor operation. An overspeed detection system senses motor speeds in excess of a predetermined threshold and disables the switching logic to avoid overspeed failure.

A system is disclosed for supplying particle material along a length of strip material which is then closed into a tube to provide welding wire or electrode. The strip material is moved longitudinally (while its flow rate is measured) and as it moves through a junction location, particle material is metered onto the strip, the flow rate of the particle material also being measured. The system compares the flow rates of the strip material and the particle material with a predetermined ratio to provide a control signal which controls the flow rate of the particle material accordingly. The strip material carrying the particle material is then closed to a tubular configuration to produce welding wire of improved consistency along its length. As disclosed, the system incorporates effective structures for measuring the flow of the strip material and for precisely metering the particle material.
