An injector is described for injecting a fluid, in particular a fuel, comprising a solenoid actuator for operating a closing element, which releases and closes a through opening, the solenoid actuator including an armature which is connected to the closing element, an internal pole and an external magnetic circuit component, and the magnetic circuit component is a rolled magnetic sleeve made from a strip material.

A valve is used to meter a fluid. The valve can be fashioned in particular as a fuel injection valve for internal combustion engines. The valve has a housing part that is surrounded on its outer side by an extrusion coating. On the outer side of the housing part there is fashioned at least one recess into which the extrusion coating is at least partly introduced.

Valve for metering a fluid

A system, which is used especially as a fuel injection system for the high-pressure injection in internal combustion engines, includes a fuel distributor and a plurality of fuel injectors. Each fuel injector is situated on a cup of the fuel distributor. At least one of the fuel injectors is fastened to the associated cup by a holding element. The holding element has an at least essentially straight first leg and an at least essentially straight second leg. The cup includes at least one recess, which extends through a wall of the cup. The first leg and the second leg are guided through the at least one recess. Furthermore, the connection sleeve of the fuel injector has a collar, which is braced on the first leg of the holding element and on the second leg of the holding element in order to secure the fuel injector on the cup.

A fuel injector for an internal combustion engine includes: an electromagnetic actuating element having a solenoid coil, a core and a valve casing as the outer solenoid circuit component, and a movable valve-closure body, which cooperates with a valve-seat surface assigned to a valve-seat body. The core and a connection pipe are fixedly connected in an inner opening of a thin-walled valve sleeve and the valve casing at the outer circumference of the valve sleeve is fixedly connected to the valve sleeve by being pressed in/on.

Fuel injector

A pressure regulator for regulating fuel pressure in an internal combustion engine, containing a valve including a closing member forced into a valve seat by the action of an angularly shaped valve leaf spring one arm of which is braced on the closing member and the other arm is braced on a support member of a regulator housing. In the region of its angled portion, the leaf spring is fixed on a pin supported in the regulator housing, and the bearing of the pin in the regulator housing contains side walls of the regulator housing that wrap around bearing bores in the valve leaf spring with parallel spacing and that extend substantially perpendicular to the pin. The side walls are overlapped at least in part by tabs that are connected to the support member of the regulator housing and are provided with bearing bores for the pin which are coaxial relative to the bearing bores in the side walls.

Pressure regulator

A pressure regulator for a fuel supply system of an internal combustion engine for regulating a fuel pressure, including a valve, having a valve ball forced against a valve seat into the closing position by the action of a valve leaf spring. With the valve open, at least some of the fuel flow that flows around the valve ball is deflected against an impact face coupled with the valve leaf spring for generating a flow force oriented counter to the closing force of the valve leaf spring. As a result, the pressure regulating performance of the pressure regulator is improved.

Pressure regulator for a fuel supply system of an internal combustion engine

Device for pressure regulation

A device with a diaphragm arrangement dividing two chambers from one another, in which the diaphragm arrangement is retained via a crimped connection, excellent restraint of the diaphragm arrangement and excellent sealing are attained with the aid of an elastomer material. The device may be a pressure valve, for instance, and serves to vary a pressure of a fuel supply system of a motor vehicle.

Pressure regulating valve and method for producing a pressure regulating valve

A method and apparatus for determining the spring force of a closing spring upon the opening of a valve, the valve is connected by means of a connection to a pressurized-gas line in which a pressure measuring device and, upstream of the latter, a variable pressure-regulating valve, a shut-off valve and a pressurized gas source are arranged. The end of the valve opposite from the pressure line connection is connected to a flow meter. After the shut-off valve has been actuated into its open position, the control pressure regulated at its outlet by the pressure-regulating valve is changed in such a way that it rises. Once the control pressure has risen to a value at which the valve closing element rises from the valve seat, i.e., the valve opens, the flow meter transmits a measurement signal which characterizes the flow of pressurized gas and which is input into a control and evaluation unit in addition to the value for the control pressure determined by the pressure measuring device. From the control pressure determined, the control and evaluation unit calculates the spring force of the closing spring upon the opening of the valve. The method is suitable, for measuring the spring force of a closing spring of a fuel injection valve for internal combustion engines without having to remove any part of the fuel injection valve.
