A road finishing machine comprises a screed for producing a paving layer from a paving material, a material bunker for receiving the paving material, a longitudinal conveying device configured to transport the paving material from the material bunker toward the screed, and a transverse distributor auger configured to distribute the paving material transported by the longitudinal conveying device transversely in front of the screed. The transverse distributor auger is mounted in front of a screed basic body of the screed within a transverse distributor channel, which is formed at least in sections by channel plates supported at a chassis of the road finishing machine, and by pre-scrapers attached laterally of a screed basic body of the screed. The road finishing machine further includes at least one suction device with at least one intake line which is configured to suck off aerosols forming during the transverse distribution of the paving material.

The disclosure relates to a road finishing machine with a screed for producing a paving layer, wherein the screed includes at least one compacting unit for precompacting paving material supplied to the screed. The compacting unit includes at least one eccentric bushing mounted on an eccentric shaft supporting the same and rotatable to a desired angle of rotation to thereby continuously variably set a desired tamper stroke of a tamper bar of the compacting unit. For rotating the eccentric bushing, the compacting unit includes at least one adjusting mechanism, wherein the adjusting mechanism includes an adjusting drive mounted on the eccentric shaft and rotatable along with the eccentric shaft. The disclosure furthermore relates to a method for a continuously variable tamper stroke adjustment at a compacting unit of a road finishing machine.

A road finishing machine comprises a screed for producing a paving layer on a subsoil on which the road finishing machine is movable in a laying direction, wherein the screed has a pulling arm fixed to the road finishing machine at a front pulling point by a levelling cylinder; at least one measuring means for performing a distance measurement, a storage means, and a controlling system. The controlling system is embodied to calculate a correction value in response to at least one distance measurement performed with respect to the subsoil and/or to a reference, which is performable at a measuring point in front of a front edge of the screed, to at least temporarily store the correction value in the storage means and calculate a desired levelling value for the measuring point taking into consideration the stored correction value, based on which the levelling cylinder of the screed is controllable.

A method is provided for adjusting a temperature of a screed plate of a paving screed of a road paver, wherein the paving screed comprises a heating element for heating the screed plate. The method may include measuring temperature of the screed plate over a time interval using a temperature sensor, and adjusting a target temperature of the heating element, depending on a time profile of the temperature of the screed plate, using a control unit of the road paver.

A control platform for a construction machine, in particular for a road finishing machine or a feeder vehicle, comprising a structural element and a seat console which includes a console bottom and a seat. The seat console includes a rotary mechanism by which the seat is mounted to be rotatable relative to the console bottom. The seat console includes a first and a second linear shifting mechanism by which the seat is mounted on the console bottom to be movable in a first and a second direction. The seat console is hinged to the structural element by a swivel mechanism to be swivable relative to the structural element.

A road finishing machine comprises a screed, which includes at least one compacting unit. The road finishing machine furthermore comprises a GNSS receiver, as well as a material conveyor. The road finishing machine furthermore comprises an electronic control system which comprises a memory and a data processor, wherein in the memory, digital construction data, in particular a nominal height profile of a road pavement to be finished, are stored. The control system is configured to automatically control, based on the construction data, an actuator mechanism provided on the road finishing machine, in particular a levelling cylinder and/or a transverse camber adjustment and/or a slope adjustment and/or a berm adjustment, in order to install laying material with the nominal height profile and thereby a defined transverse profile for the respective position coordinate point of the road finishing machine determined with the GNSS receiver.

The disclosure relates to a road finishing machine with a screed for producing a paving layer, wherein the screed includes at least one compacting unit for precompacting paving material supplied to the screed. The compacting unit includes at least one eccentric bushing mounted on an eccentric shaft supporting the same at a desired angle of rotation to thereby continuously variably set a desired tamper stroke of a tamper bar of the compacting unit. For rotating the eccentric bushing on the eccentric shaft, an adjusting mechanism mounted spaced apart from the eccentric shaft and at least partially rotatable along with a rotary motion of the eccentric shaft can be activated. Furthermore, the disclosure relates to a method for a continuously variable tamper stroke adjustment at a compacting unit of a road finishing machine.

A road paver comprises a paving screed, wherein the paving screed comprises a tamper, and the road paver further comprises a GNSS receiver and a material conveyor. In addition, the road paver comprises an electronic control system, which comprises a memory and a data processor, wherein digital construction data, in particular a target height profile of a road surface to be paved, a target layer thickness of paving material and, if necessary, a height profile of a roadbase are stored in the memory. The control system is configured to automatically control compaction performance of the paving screed as a function of the target layer thickness in order to pave the paving material for the respective local coordinate point of the road paver determined by the GNSS receiver.

A road paver comprises a generator, a control device and a screed, the screed comprising a basic screed and being suited to be modified, by selectively attaching or detaching broadening parts, from a first to at least a second, different screed configuration. The basic screed and the broadening parts each comprise one compacting unit and one electric heating element to be supplied with power from the generator for heating the compacting unit to prevent the laying material from adhering to the compacting unit and to finish a high-quality road pavement. The control device is configured to individually switch on or off each one of the two resistance wire windings of the heating element of the basic screed depending on the screed configuration determined by the control device to distribute electrical power generated by the generator to the individual resistance wire windings.

Method for laying down a pavement consisting of paving material with a road paver screed in which a compaction unit pre-compacts the paving material at cyclical work cycles with a selectable stroke and at a selectable frequency while the pavement is laid down at a selectable paving speed and at least the stroke is automatically adjustable in response to paving parameters.

A track-supporting roller assembly, according to the disclosure, for supporting a crawler track of a crawler chassis includes a bearing unit and a track-supporting roller rotatably coupled to the bearing unit. The track-supporting roller includes at least one supporting body made of plastic. The supporting body serves as a damper and prevents a metal-on-metal contact between track chain links of the crawler track and the track-supporting roller. The track-supporting roller assembly according to the disclosure ensures a reduced noise development in the crawler chassis. At the same time, it is possible to also reduce the wear of the track-supporting rollers to a considerable extent.

The present invention relates to a construction machine with automatic fan rotational speed regulation. The construction machine includes at least one electric motor that is connected functionally to a respective fan and a control unit formed for the purpose of registering operation-specific data. The control unit is configured for the purpose of regulating, depending on the operation-specific data, an electric output of the respective electric motor in order to adjust a desired target fan rotational speed on the fan.

A paving screed to be employed on a road finisher comprises a base screed, the operating width of which may be modified by protractable extending units and/or separate removable bolt-on extensions. The paving screed also includes a plurality of side plates, each being mountable on an outer end of the base screed or an extending unit or a bolt-on extension and which delimit the operating width. At least one reference element for determining the operating width is provided on one of the side plates, and that the at least one reference element is detectable by one or more sensor units when the side plates are each mounted on the outer ends of the base screed, an extending unit or a bolt-on extension.

A tamper of a screed includes a tamper bar secured to a connecting rod in which an eccentric bushing is rotatable. The eccentric bushing is adapted to be rotationally displaced on an eccentric section of a drive shaft relative to the eccentric section and to be rotationally coupled with the eccentric section at relative rotational positions defining different stroke lengths of the tamper bar. A changeover between the rotational positions is accomplishable by a reversal of the direction of rotation of the drive shaft. The eccentric bushing is adapted to be locked at each respective rotational position by means of a locking and/or coupling device against inadvertent displacement from the respective rotational position. The locking and/or coupling device is adapted to be released and/or engaged automatically or by remote control for effecting a changeover from one rotational position to the next.
