Electrical installation switching device having a switching position display

An installation switching device which rapidly disconnects short-circuit currents is provided. A contact lever is arranged at least partially in an air gap in a magnetic circuit such that, in case of a short circuit, the interaction between current flow and magnetic flux within the air gap can result in an electrodynamic force effect, which leads to rapid opening of at least one contact point. A switching mechanism acts via a first operating connecting line on the contact lever to open the contact point and/or to keep it open. In case of overcurrent tripping, an overcurrent release acts, by a switching mechanism and via a second operating connecting line, on the switching mechanism to open the contact point and keep it open. In case of short-circuit tripping, the contact lever acts via a third operating connecting line on the switching mechanism to keep the contact point open.

The disclosure relates to a screw connecting terminal which comprises a clamping part, which is essentially in the form of a frame and has longitudinal, narrow and broad faces, a clamping screw which is held in a threaded opening in the clamping part, and a busbar which passes through the interior of the frame-like clamping part and is arranged such that it can move with respect to the clamping part, and whose broad face when in the installed state is oriented parallel to the broad face of the clamping part, with the clamping part being movable in its longitudinal direction relative to the busbar by rotation of the clamping screw, such that a connecting conductor can be clamped firmly between the side of the busbar which faces away from the clamping screw and the broad face of the clamping part which faces away from the clamping screw.

The invention relates to a quick-fixing device on electrical installation equipment, in particular, on a power breaker, residual current circuit breaker, or similar, for clipping the same to a standard profile rail in particular a top-hat rail, whereby the electrical installation equipment comprises a recess on the fixing side with a fixed lug arranged on a wall of the recess and a moving lug permanently pressed inwards against a spring force in the direction of a wall, said lug engaging in the assembled state behind the longitudinal edge of the free arm of the top-hat rail. The sprung lug is moulded to a bar, connected in one-piece to the installation equipment by at least one sprung connector web.

Quick-fixing device on electrical installation equipment

The invention relates to an electrical switching device, having a thermal release, an electromagnetic release, and a switching mechanism with a latching point. A contact base for moving a contact member is located between the thermal release and the electromagnetic release. The thermal release is coupled to a release lever by means of a connecting rod passing over the contact base so that both the thermal release and the electromagnetic release open the latching point in the event of an overcurrent and/or short-circuit current.

Electrical switching device

An electrical switchgear includes a thermal trip, an electromagnetic trip, and a switching mechanism with a latching point and at least one contact point that is continuously opened or closed. An operating handle is connected to one end of a lug by means of a coupling element and the other end of the lug is coupled to a contact base that carries a moving contact member. A miniature circuit breaker is disclosed with a latch for continuously opening and closing a contact point with a contact lever on which the moving contact member is molded. A toggle lever gear with a link connected to a switching handle and a coupling element are provided, the coupling element connecting the link with the contact lever, which toggle lever gear can be brought from a first stable position (switched-on position) into a second stable position via a dead-center position by a tripping mechanism. The contact lever can be rotated and the contact point can be permanently opened. A compression spring is provided which acts on the link, the force of which acts approximately in a direction of the longitudinal extent of the link in the switched-off position, and thus at the beginning of the switching-on process, and transversely thereto in the switched-on position.

A connection for two items of installation equipment lined up beside each other with their end or broad sides against each other, in particular line-protection circuit breakers, residual current circuit breakers and the like, whose housings are each formed from two shell-shaped housing parts. The connecting element has an approximately cylindrical base body with a first outer diameter onto which, on both sides, two radially springy spreading arms projecting axially in opposite directions are integrally molded. The outside diameter of the spreading arms is smaller than the outside diameter of the base body and free ends of the spreading arms have radially protruding lugs which, when assembled, latch in behind protrusions on the housings of the items of installation equipment located beside each other and to be connected by the connecting element.
