A rotationally symmetrical bellows has a first end ring and a second end ring with a smaller diameter, and multiple folds, which in a relaxed position each have two flanks running in opposite directions with respect to one another while forming a bend. The flanks extend approximately parallel to an axis of rotation of the bellows. The rotationally symmetrical bellows is designed such that in a relaxed position of the bellows, the second end ring is arranged at an axial distance to the first end ring.

A disc brake for a utility vehicle has a brake caliper engaging over a brake disc, at least one application device for applying the disc brake by way of a displaceably guided bridge, which bridge has at least one threaded hole, into which an actuating spindle passing through a closure plate connected to the brake caliper and provided with an external thread is screwed. The spindle bears a pressure piece which can be rotated relative thereto, by which pressure piece a brake pad can be pressed against the brake disc. A readjusting device is operatively connected to the actuating spindle for readjusting a clearance. A securing ring is provided, which is held on the bridge so as to be secured axially and against rotation and which, in an end position of the actuating spindle screwed in counter to the actuating direction, in order to secure the actuating spindle against rotation, engages with a form fit in a thread-free end region of the actuating spindle which is assigned to the pressure piece.

Disc brake for a utility vehicle

A disk brake with lower cost and improved maintainability is provided. The brake caliper includes at least one actuating device for actuating the disc brake using a moveably guided bridge. The bridge has at least one threaded hole into which an actuating spindle is displaceably located. A brake disk end of the actuating spindle penetrates a caliper closing plate facing the brake disk. The positioning spindle carries a rotatably-mounted pressure piece which presses a brake pad against the brake disc. The opening is sealed by a bellows retained on the brake caliper on one side and on the pressure piece on the other side. A securing ring non-rotatably located on the actuating spindle and rotatably connected to the thrust piece interacts with the bellows during brake application and/or release to maintain a desired air gap between the brake disk and brake pad.

Disk brake for a utility vehicle

A disc brake, preferably a compressed air-actuated disc brake, in particular for a motor vehicle, has a brake application mechanism with a brake rotary lever, at least one spindle unit having a threaded rod screwed into a bridge, and a brake caliper. The caliper frames an edge region of a brake disc. The brake caliper has a brake application portion and a caliper back which are connected together via tie bars. The brake application mechanism with the brake rotary lever is received in the brake application portion of the brake caliper from an application face side of the brake disc. The brake application portion of the brake caliper has a first region, in which the application mechanism and a force transmission portion of the brake rotary lever are arranged, a second region, which is formed as a lever housing, and a lever portion for the brake rotary lever. A support wall with a bearing portion, which forms a pivot bearing with a brake rotary lever axis that runs parallel to the brake disc, for the brake rotary lever is arranged between the first region and the second region.

A disc brake for a commercial vehicle is provided. The disc brake includes a brake caliper which engages over a brake disc and is in the form of a sliding caliper, two brake pads which are arranged in the caliper, are movable in opposite directions and each have a pad carrier plate and a friction lining fastened thereon and of which an application-side brake pad is pressable against the brake disc by an application device via at least one brake plunger, and with at least one restoring device with which the brake caliper is returnable after a braking-induced displacement and release of the brake. The restoring device is provided with a friction element which is mounted in the brake pad so as to be displaceable to a limited extent under pressure loading in the axial direction of the brake disc and on which an elastic pressure element held in the brake caliper and/or brake plunger acts.

Disc brake for a commercial vehicle

A functional unit is provided for adjusting a brake pad of a disc brake, having the following function parts: a guide rail, two adjusting spindles, arranged parallel to and spaced apart from each other in the guide rail and held in an axially moveable manner, and a synchronization device for synchronously adjusting the adjusting spindles, wherein the functional parts are pre-mounted into one assembly.

Functional unit for adjusting a brake pad of a disc brake

A disc brake for a commercial vehicle includes a brake caliper that straddles a brake disc, a brake application device, arranged in the brake caliper, for pressing brake pads against the brake disc. Two parallel, spaced-apart adjusting spindles are mounted in a rotatable manner via a corresponding thread, in a bridge of the brake application device. A wear adjusting device is arranged in the brake caliper and compensates for a wear-related change in the clearance between the brake pad and the brake disc by axially moving the adjusting spindles. A synchronizing device includes a traction drive mechanism which allows the two adjusting spindles to be synchronously rotated. The fraction drive mechanism has a traction mechanism that meshes in a force transmitting manner with drive gears which are effectively connected to the adjusting spindles for conjoint rotation therewith. Each drive gear includes at least one form-fitting element which engages with an outer axial guide of the associated adjusting spindle.

A disc brake for a commercial vehicle includes a brake caliper which extends over a brake disc, a brake application device which is arranged in the brake caliper for pressing brake pads against the brake disc, and at least one adjustment spindle which is rotatably mounted in a bridge via a threaded coupling. A wear adjusting device is positioned in the brake caliper by which a wear-induced change of the clearance between the brake pad and the brake disc can be substantially compensated for via an axial movement of the adjusting spindle. The disc brake is designed such that the adjusting spindle has at least one axial groove on an outer side, the length of the groove being limited in the direction of the brake application device. A stop, which is axially fixed relative to the bridge, engages into the axial groove in a relatively displaceable manner.

A multiple gate field-effect transistor is built from an overlapping mesh assembly. The assembly comprises a first layer comprising a semiconductor material formed into at least one fin, at least one source, and at least one drain. The first layer comprises a portion of a first mesh, electrically separated from the rest of the mesh. Similarly, a second layer is formed over the first layer and electrically isolated from the first layer, the second layer being electrically conductive and comprising a gate for the at least on fin of the transistor. The second layer comprises a portion of a second mesh offset from the first mesh and overlapping the first mesh, the second layer of the MuGFET device electrically separated from the rest of the second mesh.
