A nebulizer is proposed which comprises a replaceable container containing fluid, a housing part detachable from the nebulizer for replacing the container, and an operation counter inseparable from the housing part as depicted in exemplary FIG.. The operation counter comprises a lead screw and an associated rider both supported by the housing part.

Nebulizer

An atomizer for the delivery, and in particular, for the atomization of a formulation, particularly, a powder has a simple construction that makes a simple intuitive operation possible. In particular, such is achieved by the fact that the atomizer has a mouthpiece with an associated cover, so that opening and/or closing of the cover causes a delivery medium, in particular air, to be taken in and/or put under pressure by a delivery device, a spring store is put under tension and/or a preferably annular reservoir containing a plurality of doses of the formulation is further rotated.

Atomizer

An inhaler for delivering a preferably powdered formulation from a blister strip having a plurality of blister pouches. In order to achieve a compact simple construction for the inhaler and an easy action for the blister strip, the carrier extends over a circumferential angle of the inhaler of less than 360&#xb0;. In particular, the carrier is guided between two deflectors with an at least substantially constant curvature, and preferably, exclusively along an outer wall of the inhaler. A conveying device of the inhaler has four drive wheels of the same diameter which are arranged on a common radius and are driven by common drive means in the same direction of rotation.

Inhaler

An atomizer for the delivery, and in particular, the atomization of a formulation, particularly, a powder. An inhaler for delivery of a powder-form inhalation formulation from a blister strip has a plurality of blister pockets and uses a pivotable mouthpiece cover to move the blister strip onward via a conveyor, wherein the mouthpiece cover is drivingly coupled with the conveyor by engaging an axle in a recess to drive a conveying wheel.

Inhaler for delivery of a powder formulation from a blister strip

A nebulizer for a fluid, particularly for medical aerosol treatment is proposed. To allow easier operation and confer improved operational reliability a sealed container holding the fluid is already arranged in the nebulizer when it is supplied and the nebulizer is constructed so that the container is opened inside the nebulizer before or during the first use of the nebulizer. Alternatively, or in addition, the nebulizer is constructed so that the container cannot be replaced, and in particular, cannot be removed.

An inhaler () for delivery of a powder-form inhalation formulation from a blister strip () with a plurality of blister pockets () is proposed. A tape is used for numbering.

A dispensing device and a storage device for dispensing a formulation as a spray. The storage device has multiple separate and pre-metered doses of the formulation in receptacles or cavities. In order to allow a very compact arrangement, the receptacles or cavities are arranged in a first group and a second group axially offset, and preferably, forming a double ring arrangement, and the storage device is rotatable and axially moveable for dispensing the doses one after the other.

Dispensing device

An inhaler () is proposed (see FIG.), for the inhalation of a formulation () from capsules () that each contain one dose of the formulation. The capsules are preferably each emptied in a capsule chamber () by being set in motion by a stream of air flowing through the capsule chamber. The stream of air can be generated by the inhalation of a user or patient and/or can be generated actively generated by the inhaler. For simple handling, the inhaler has a means for, in particular, automatic filling, emptying and/or cleaning of the capsule chamber, if the latter is used more than once. Alternatively, the inhaler has a large number of capsule chambers that each preferably already contain a capsule and re preferably used just once.

An atomizer for a fluid, in particular, a fluid for medical aerosol therapy. In order to allow simplified operation and improved safety in use, the atomizer has a counter device for counting the number of operations of the atomizer and the number of containers inserted. The atomizer is locked against further operation and/or against removal of the current container or insertion of a new container, if a certain number of operations of the atomizer and/or a certain number of containers inserted has/have been reached or exceeded.

An inhaler for delivery of a powder-form inhalation formulation from a blister strip has a plurality of blister pockets and uses a pivotable mouthpiece cover to move the blister strip onward. The mouthpiece cover is drivingly coupled with a conveyor wheel to drive the conveying wheel and to move the blister strip onward, and the axis of the actuator and of the conveying wheel is identical to the cover axis of the mouthpiece cover.

A dispensing device has a storage device and an air pump for dispensing a medical formulation in which the storage device has multiple inserts, each insert containing a single dose of the formulation. Each insert is located in a separate and sealed cavity. The cavities can be individually opened for dispensing the respective dose from the respective insert.

An atomizer, a reservoir and a method are proposed for the delivery and in particular, the atomization of a formulation, particularly a powder. A pump and a spring are arranged inside the annular reservoir, the pump and the spring being moveable radially and in a sliding manner. The pump is actuated by the spring to put air under pressure for discharging powder from the reservoir. The reservoir comprises receptacles or cavities, each of which has an insert with a respective dose of the formulation. The receptacles are constructed as separate parts and/or arranged on a common or annular carrier and/or are sealed separately and/or on its outer circumferential periphery. The spring is tensioned and the air is sucked into the pump. Then, the next receptacle and a connecting element are aligned relative to each other. Finally, the aligned receptacle is pierced by the connecting element for supplying the air.

A dispensing device with a storage device and an air pump for dispensing a medical formulation in which the storage device has multiple inserts, each insert containing a single dose of the formulation. Each insert is located in a separate and sealed cavity. The cavities can be individually opened for dispensing the respective dose from the respective insert. Furthermore, a mechanism is provided for aligning the connecting element relative to a respective receptacle and/or insert which has guiding portions formed at or by the respective receptacle and/or insert.
