A clamping arrangement includes: two spring-force terminals, the two spring-force terminals each including a clamping cage and a spring, each of the two clamping cages being able to receive an electrical conductor pushed in an insertion direction and to clamp the conductor between the cage and the spring, a first insertion direction of a first of the two spring-force terminals and a second insertion direction of a second of the two spring-force terminals being arranged at an angle larger than 0&#xb0; to one another. The two spring-force terminals are arranged one behind the other in one of the insertion directions of the electrical conductor. The first insertion direction of the first of the two spring-force terminals and the second insertion direction of the second of the two spring-force terminals are arranged at a right angle to one another or counter to one another.

Electrical switching device comprising electrical clamping connections

A quenching plate arrangement for a switching device has plural quenching plates for arc splitting and/or lengthening; a guiding plate, the quenching plates being arranged substantially next to one another to firm a stack, the guiding plate laterally delimiting the stack, the guiding plate protruding beyond the quenching plates in a main extension direction; and a DC-suitable switching device having a first contact and a second contact, at least the second contact being movable relative to the first contact, a first and second running rail arrangement for conducting an arc with respective first and second current directions, the two running rail arrangements having respective first and second running rails, the two first and two second running rails respectively running in opposite directions from the first and second contacts, and the first running rails being connected in an electrically conducting manner in closed loop form, with the quenching plate arrangement.

Quenching plate arrangement for a switching device

A switching device has a switching chamber; a plate-like switching element, which can be moved in the switching chamber along a linear movement axis (Z) between an ON position in which the switching element connects fixed contacts to one another, and an OFF position in which the switching element is at a distance from the fixed contacts; an actuator for linear movement of the switching element inside the switching chamber; and spring(s) which prestress the switching element in the direction of the movement axis (Z). Guides are provided and configured so the switching element in the switching chamber is guided along the movement axis (Z) in a linearly movable manner and held so a main axis (N) of the switching element, which runs perpendicularly with respect to the two main extension directions (X, Y) of the switching element, is oriented at least substantially parallel to the movement axis (Z).

Switching device

A contacting device has a housing having a first opening for inserting the electrical conductor and the electrical plug into a cavity in the housing, and having a second opening for inserting the electrical conducting track into the cavity in the housing. The contacting device further has a contact bridge which is arranged in the cavity in the housing and comprises a first portion for fixing the electrical conductor to the electrical conducting track in a force fit, and a second portion for retaining the electrical plug on the electrical conducting track and pressing it thereagainst.

Contact device for contacting an electric conductor and an electrical connector to an electrical conductor track

A switching device suitable for DC operation includes at least a pair of contacts having a first and second contact, wherein at least one of the two contacts is mobile and the two contacts are in contact with one another in a switched-on state and are not in contact with one another in a switched-off state, having an arc driver arrangement which generates a magnetic field at least in the region of the pair of contacts, and comprising a first arc guiding arrangement by which an arc which is produced between the contacts is guided in a first current direction to a quenching device for quenching the arc, wherein a second arc guiding arrangement is provided, by means of which an arc which is produced between the contacts is guided in a second current direction, which is opposite the first current direction, to said quenching device for quenching the arc.

Switching device which is suitable for DC operation

A switching device having at least one contact pair includes a first contact and a second contact, where at least the second contact is movable relative to the first contact. There is an extinguishing device with at least one extinguishing chamber for extinguishing an arc produced between the contacts, a first guide rail arrangement for guiding the arc with one direction of current and a second guide rail arrangement for guiding the arc with the second direction of current in said extinguishing chamber. Both guide rail arrangements have a first guide rail and a second guide rail, where both first guide rails starting from the first contact run in the opposite direction, and both second guide rails starting from the second contact run in the opposite direction. The first guide rails are connected with each other in an electrically conductive arrangement in the form of a closed loop.

Electrical switching device having a housing, at least two switching chambers within the housing with contacts to interrupt at least one current path, an arc extinguishing device for each switching chamber, and at least one guide channel within the housing, which directs the arc gas exiting the arc extinguishing device towards at least one of the exhaust openings to allow the arc gases to exit the housing, whereby each switching chamber has a guide channel, and whereby the guide channels of the different switching chambers are separated from each other.

Electrical switching device

A polarity-independent switching device for carrying and disconnecting high DC currents has a gastight, encapsulated, electrically insulating housing which can be filled with an insulating gas, and at least one pair of contacts disposed in the housing and made up of a fixed contact and a mobile contact. The two contacts are in contact with each other in a switched-on state of the switching device and are not in contact in a switch-off state of the switching device. An arc driver arrangement is included which generates a magnetic field at least in the region of the pair of contacts, as well as a first arc routing arrangement with which an arc produced between the contacts is guided in a first current direction to a quenching area arranged at a distance from the contacts.

Polarity independent switching device for carrying and disconnecting direct current

A switching device includes at least a first current path and a second current path, each of which have a first connection and a second connection, whereby the first connections are arranged on the first side of the switching device and the second connections on the second side of the switching device, each current path has at least one contact pair, that has a first contact and a second contact, whereby at least the second contact is arranged on a contact member that is movable to the first contact and whereby in the switched-on status of the switching device, both the contacts are in contact with each other, each contact pair has at least one extinguishing device, whereby the extinguishing devices of both the current paths are arranged in a direction from the first connections to the second connections, behind one another and at least partly covering each other.

Switching device suitable for direct current operation

A contactor for DC operation includes a first and a second contact that are fixed contacts and a contact bridge that has a third and a fourth contact. The contact bridge, in a closed position, provides a tactile contact between a first contact pair, which comprises the first and the third contact, and between a second contact pair, which comprises the second and the fourth contact. The contact bridge is movable via a guide along a direction of movement. A magnet arrangement is configured to generate an electromagnetic force on an electric arc, which arises on opening the contacts. The contact bridge has at least one recess, which is arranged between the guide and the third contact. The recess is configured to provide an opening at the contact bridge through which the arc, generated at the third contact, is deflected in the direction of movement of the contact bridge.

Contactor for DC operation

An electromagnetic switching device with a multipart housing. The magnet core of the switching device, including the coil, is accommodated in one of the housing parts. Identical connecting modules are provided for each outer terminal of the device. These connecting modules can be slipped on on the top side of the housing part in which the magnet core is accommodated, in the area of the four corners of said housing part. A blank module is configured externally in the same way and can be slipped on on the corner of the housing part which is not occupied by a connecting module.
