A drum brake module for motor vehicles operable by electric motor and performs at least one parking brake function, having an electromechanical actuator mounted on one side of the armature plate and a rotational-translational movement converter converting a rotational drive rotational movement into a translational activation movement of brake shoes arranged on a side of the armature plate facing away from the actuator in a brake drum, and including at least one supporting device between the brake shoes such that the latter can carry out an activation movement in the direction of the brake drum. A drive nut is supported by the rotational-translational movement converter in an axially secure and rotatable fashion on the armature plate to assist the braking force. The drive nut drives a spindle arrangement mounted in a rotationally fixed and axially displaceable fashion and engages with an activation cable on at least one brake shoe.

A partially lined disk brake includes a brake anchor plate, mountable on which are two brake linings, which are arranged at a distance from one another and which between them are capable of receiving a brake disk capable of rotating about an axis of rotation, wherein an application movement serves to bring the two brake linings into engagement with a friction surface of the brake disk, including a brake caliper, which is arranged on the brake anchor plate and which engages at least partially over the brake linings and the brake disk, and which in the direction of movement of the brake linings can be displaced by an actuating device in relation to the brake anchor plate, wherein the actuating device produces the application movement of the brake linings, and having at least one spring element, which moves the brake linings away from one another again after an application movement.

Partially lined disk brake having a spring arrangement for improved clearance and spring arrangement

A disk brake for a vehicle having a bracket which is fixed with respect to the vehicle and on which brake linings and at least one brake caliper are mounted so as to be movable in an axial direction is disclosed. The bracket and the brake caliper engage around at least one brake disk, and the brake caliper includes a housing limb with at least one actuating device, a further housing limb with at least one housing finger, and a housing bridge. A spring arrangement which generates an elastic preload between the brake caliper and the bracket is provided in such a way that the preload is aligned substantially perpendicular to a movement direction of the brake caliper. The spring arrangement comprises a spring element and a protective panel.

Disk brake with guard screen

A disk brake having a brake caliper, which engages axially in a U shape around a rotatable brake disk is provided. The disk brake includes a caliper bridge, two caliper limbs and at least one actuating device. At least one brake lining is mounted in an axially movable fashion in the brake caliper. The caliper bridge has, in the peripheral direction, at least three substantially axially extending supports, wherein two of the supports are embodied as a main support and one support is embodied as a central support. These supports connect the two caliper limbs and in the process form two windows and axially project beyond the brake disk. The central support projects both beyond the brake disk and beyond the brake lining in the axial direction.

Disk brake

The present invention relates to a spot-type disc brake with a brake housing straddling a brake disc, with at least one brake pad that is arranged in the brake housing so as to be slidable in the actuating direction and cooperates tribologically with the brake disc upon brake application, with at least one actuating device arranged in the brake housing to apply an actuating force to the brake pad, and with a spring assembly for the active adjustment of a clearance between the brake pad and the brake disc after brake application. To simplify the configuration of the spring assembly, the spring assembly comprises exactly one spring which is secured detachably in the spot-type disc brake and is supported on the brake pad and on the brake housing. A spring of this type is arranged advantageously symmetrically within the brake housing to prevent an undesirable inclined positioning of the brake pads.
