The invention relates to a method for producing a body implant comprising the steps of: providing a wire; producing predetermined cuts of the cross section of the wire by means of an ultrashort pulse laser in order to produce a predetermined shape of the body implant. This method can be used to produce, for example, a body implant, an assembly consisting of a guide wire and a body implant, or a medical instrument having a guide wire.

A perfusion device and a delivery system for repair of a damaged portion of a body vessel. Perfusion device can include a tubular body that is self-expandable, having a proximal portion, a distal portion, and an intermediate portion. One or more series of barbs can be disposed circumferentially along the intermediate portion. Barbs are capable of penetrating into the tunica intima and tunica media of said vessel wall upon insertion of said device into said body vessel, and not into said tunica adventitia. A graft can be associated with the tubular body. Graft has a proximal end and a distal end, and preferably extends entirely along a luminal wall of the tubular body. Graft may also extend along an exterior surface of the tubular body at the proximal and distal portions. Delivery devices for the perfusion implant and methods of delivering the perfusion implant are also provided.

Blood perfusion device

The invention relates to a spreader structure () for introducing into a hollow organ, comprising spreader rods (), which radiate from a first connection section () essentially in the longitudinal direction () of the spreader structure () up to a second connection section (), are distributed around the periphery of the spreader structure () and can be placed against a wall of a hollow organ by means of radial expansion. The aim of the invention is to provide a spreader structure (), which is versatile and cost-effective to produce. To achieve this, the spreader rods () have at least one zone () running in the longitudinal direction, which has a reduced flexural strength in comparison to neighboring zones (). The invention also relates to the use of said spreader structure, to a spreader device and to a method for positioning a spreader structure.
